Review of fl.2 Modern American

Not Celiac friendly without Nima test. We ordered the family style whole rotisserie chicken with two sides-the charred broccolini and whipped potatoes. When I tested everything together, the test came back positive for gluten. I then tested the potatoes separately (I was super hungry and thought these may be the least likely suspect) and they were gluten free, tested the chicken separately and also gluten free. The broccolini must have had some cross contamination. Staff was attentive, gave me fresh utensils to re-test all the items. Food that I did eat was fantastic-potatoes were actually clouds and the chicken was so juicy and definitely flavorful (even the breast meat!). This did take 3 Nima capsules which is about $36 in testing alone plus the pricey meal. Cocktails were out of this world. Side note-Pittsburgh is not a very Celiac friendly city! A huge thank you to all that can cater to a huge population of people!
