Flapjacks Pancake Cabin

I’m happy with the options. I got mixed berry gluten free pancakes (so good) and the ham and cheese skillet (just okay). I’m gluten intolerant but I don’t think I’d eat here if I was a sensitive celiac. No specific gluten free menu. My family was really excited to try it this morning based on the reviews. We sat down and asked the server about gluten free options. Was told that the gluten free pancakes were gluten free batter but not made in a separate area/ pan. Glad we double checked before ordering. Super bummed :(

Our server was so knowledgeable about celiac, she made me feel so confident about ordering food! I got the meat omelette and gluten free sticky buns pancakes on the side. She even said they cook the gluten free pancakes separately! It was very busy so I’m sure the risk for cross contamination is there, but I didn’t get sick and would love to go back next time we’re visiting

The person was very informed about celiac disease. They have someone that works there that has the disease. Food was good and most it you can eat that's on the menu.

This place was fantastic! They could make gluten free waffles or pancakes and there was also the option of omelets. I ended up getting the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon and it was delicious! This is our second time eating here on a vacation and they haven’t let us down. I would definitely eat here again and again.

We always love going to flapjacks when we are in the area. This was the first time since going gluten-free so I had some concerns. All the pancakes can be done gluten-free free. They were really good. All there protein options are gluten-free also. Great breakfast!

NO GF PANCAKES as it says they have - only a gf waffle - wanted pancakes

Very rude waitress. And they have NO options if you are gluten free and dairy free

Beat GF pancakes ever! I also created my own skillet combo too, but the potatoes are done in a shared fryer. I’m sensitive, not Celiac. Waitress was very knowledgeable about GF and let me know about the potatoes, I didn’t even have to ask her.

The only gluten free options for celiac or sensitivity/allergy is a plain gf waffle, eggs, and fruit. Not bad, but not great. The waffle was very bitter and dry. I did not get extremely sick, i did experience some symptoms.

Was told that they do have a dedicated iron for their GF waffles, but not a separate griddle or area of the griddle for the GF pancakes. My gluten-sensitive (not celiac) friend had the Gluten-Sensitive Breakfast (a GF waffle, eggs, & fruit) and was ok. They did clean a separate area of the griddle to make her eggs (the eggs are cooked in bacon grease, which she can’t have), which was very nice. Due to the high risk of cross-contamination (I was advised that since they work with so much flour, they can’t guarantee that anything would be safe for celiacs), I decided not to eat. The people in my group said the food was great, though!

Our waitress was very sweet and helpful when it came to my questions. The pancakes were okay-not the best gluten free ones I’ve ever had. I ate everything fin without getting sick though.

You can get any pancake or waffle on their menu gluten free. Got the sticky bun pancakes and it was amazing. It was like 2 of my favorite things that I never get to eat anymore. So. Good.

The pancakes were really dry and had no flavor of their own. They might be fine if you add all of the sweets that they have on the menu to them, but I don’t care for overly sweet breakfasts.

The server didn’t ask me about cross-contamination concerns. The website is explicit that they have cross-contamination, but it’s not on the menu.

I thought this one was one of the better places that served GF waffles. Sausage was also delicious. We went 2 days in a row!

My husband and I went here for breakfast on a Thursday around 9 am. We were seated immediately. This is a great place for families with a fireplace in the middle creating a cozy ambiance. We discovered during our stay that Flapjacks is a chain with multiple locations in the area. My husband had the chocolate chip pancakes. I had bacon, eggs, and gluten free pancakes. This restaurant has gluten friendly waffles also. They do provide a chart with allergen information but gluten free is not noted on the menu. We thought the food was average for breakfast fare. My GF pancakes were huge and a little bit dry but still tasty. I also requested my bacon crispy but it came out chewy. Still, overall a hearty meal and the service was good!

They were able to make any of their pancakes gluten free and the waiter was knowledgeable about what else was gluten free on the menu. That being said, I got eggs and blueberry pancakes. The eggs were dry and the pancakes were just okay. I asked for maple syrup and he said he wasn't sure if they had that, which I thought was weird, but he did bring it out. It's been a few hours and I feel fine, I knew I was taking a risk being CC, but I told him I had celiac and I would appreciate it if they were extra careful.

Disclaimer: To those of you that are hyper sensitive to cross contamination this place is not for you.

There was a little bit of a wait but it was worth it! Soon after we were seated the waitress brought over a skillet with their fritters (on the house)— to which my fiancé and I both contemplated whether we should accept them as I told her that my fiancé couldn’t have them because of the gluten. She apologized and said she’d also bring out an order of their candied bacon and explained what was on it. (VERY DELICIOUS! Yes I had one…)

They made sure to serve his GF pancakes first. My fiancé says “They were huge! It wasn’t like regular gluten free foods which are tiny in comparison. They were even bigger than the regular pancakes.”

Overall they were accommodating, the staff was very friendly and the food was yummy! I am posting this 8 hours after eating and he is alive and well! Would definitely recommend and come again.

They can make any pancake GF. They were very clear that they can't garrantee no cross contamination. So be cautious eating here if you are very sensitive. My GF pancake were yummy.

I ordered naturally GF food (the egg breakfast - scrambled egg, bacon, hash browns). Food was good but smaller portions than I expected. Not the best breakfast I've ever eaten but the good was acceptable. I mentioned that I could not have gluten at all and was assured it wouldn't be near anything with gluten but it was unclear if she actually marked my order as GF.
