Don’t eat here!!
We stressed to our server how our family was gluten free and we had a severe allergy. When our molten lava cake came out he told my husband, “Just don’t eat the caramel on the plate because that’s not gluten free.” So of course we questioned why he would put the sauce on the plate after we told him it had to be gluten free.
Then I asked him about the wafer(tuille)on all of our plates and he said, No that’s definitely gluten free.”
I then questioned it again because on the gluten free menu it specifically stated that the molten lava cake was gluten free but only w/o the wafer (tuille). The server then stated again that I was wrong and it was definitely gluten free and he said “things have changed and I assure you it’s safe.”
Minutes later our server came back over a third time and said, “Actually I do apologize but I was just informed that I was wrong and that isn’t gluten free.”
Those with celiac and with a severe wheat allergy know how seriously this situation is. I was extremely disappointed in the way this was handled and the way we were treated at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we will never be able to trust going there again since they didn’t take allergies & celiac seriously. This post is simply to warn others because I never want anyone to have this type of experience here. If it wasn’t for me carefully memorizing the menu, googling ingredients, and trusting my gut, my family would have been in the hospital tonight. 😔
Server was very aware of cross contamination worries of mine. All staff knew of my dietary restrictions. I will definitely go back.
Wonderful gluten free menu with many options. Server was very knowledgeable. Food was fabulous. I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination and I was just fine. Highly recommend.

They took the time to ask if I was celiac or gluten sensitive. Since I am celiac they took extra precautions to avoid cross contamination. The server was knowledgeable on what I could and could not safely order. He was able to make recommendations regarding alterations to menu items that have gluten in them that could be modified to be gluten free.
This place was delicious and has a separate gf menu! We started off with the burrata (no crostini) and followed up with the filet & the truffle lobster tail, and mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had the lava cake with a side of chantilly cream. Will definitely be back!
They are very careful with food allergies. We enjoy our meal here every time. My celiac husband has never gotten sick.
Our almost disaster of a Valentine dinner quickly turned into a Hooray! Fleming's saved the day! (Our reservation at a different restaurant was lost.). The extremely kind person working at the bar showed our group a mini booth that was still open. She told the manager about our experience with the other restaurant and they opened a table for us, on Valentine's Day! We never thought this would ever happen. A BIG sigh of relief and a BIG thank you to Fleming's. On with the show...The very busy waiter very nicely answered all of my gluten free questions. I ordered one of the best shrimp cocktails in town, a filet and the Fleming's potatoes. The food and the service were both magnificent. What more can you ask for?!!! (I didn't have any reaction.) The Triple Crown of eating out!
Celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Fleming’s. We had a reservation and called before we came to ensure it was safe. When we arrived, they were prepared for us and had a gluten-free menu available. Spoke to the server who was knowledgeable about Celiac. The entire experience was exceptional!
