This restaurant is wonderful. I confirmed with hostess and server that I have celiac and require all cross contact precautions, which kitchen knows how to do safely. They have many GF menu items, but also gluten containing foods, so vigilance is required. I ordered the crab tower appetizer and it was divine! Perfect marriage of flavors. I also had a GF seafood entree that was fresh and perfectly prepared. There is a nice wine list with a variety of prices. I’ll make a special trip to Cocoa Beach just to eat here again. Perfect food in atmosphere where I felt safe from any cross contact.
We found this Gem on a trip last October (2023). It was so damn good we came back 5 times to make our way through the menu! I’ve never done that anywhere. But when they hit a home run, you stick with what you know is great.
Every single thing we tried was incredible! Amazing swordfish, Mahi, seasonal specialties, the creme brûlée and flourless chocolate torte are divine. My all time favorite is the crab tower. So flavorful and perfectly paired/made. We get it every time as a starter.
The servers are all very knowledgeable about GF and CC. Dishes come out with GF Markers on them.
Definitely DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!
We came back this spring on our way through town and enjoyed again. Anytime we pass through I’m sure we’ll stop by!
Our server knew all the ingredients in the menu. She thanked me for telling her I have celiac disease & had to be careful. Thanked me. For letting her know. How awesome is that??!! GF items clearly marked. Lots of real choices. Food was excellent, prices were fair, service was great even though the place was packed. On a Wednesday evening. Great experience!!
One word. Wow! This is my first time and I’m coming back. All waiters and staff are very knowledgeable about GF and celiacs. I had the fresh salad with grilled salmon and my husband had the cheeseburger with garlic mashed potatoes. Both servings were big and delicious. We shared a crème brûlée and it is the best I’ve had.
Went there for a cocktail and maybe a dessert, ended up having an appetizer (seared tuna - it was soo delicious!) and a side of mashed potatoes that was amazing too. Had a GF chocolate cake that made me so happy! The waiter - Costa - was auper friendly and anwered all my questions. The waiting time for the table was way shorter than they initially said, so that was great too. Amazing experience, definitely recommended!!
Went for my dad’s birthday. Called ahead at 5:30 they said they couldn’t take us until 7:15. We went right over to have a drink first. They took us right in. We got a great table. Plenty of GF choices. Rice was flavorful. Beef cooked to perfection. The food and service was fantastic! Thanks, Amanda R. They even brought him out a bowl of ice cream with a candle in it. We had a great time!
OMG!! Fabulous from start to finish. We did call ahead seating and had less than 30 min wait. Staff knowledgeable about gluten and other allergies, menu clearly marked gf items. Food was delicious, they obviously have a real chef in the kitchen, the food was fresh and perfect. Not your ordinary menu and definitely not processed crap. We had bread service, lobster bisque, fillet mignon, ribeye, Chilean sea bass w/lemon butter sauce, Shelly’s chicken, carrot cake and cocktails. My daughter (celiac and a foodie) can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town. My son (autistic, slathers all meats in ketchup) said the bass was so good it would be a crime to eat it with ketchup. Hubby and I weren’t that hungry but couldn’t help ourselves and ate every last bite. Service was friendly and efficient. You might think it’s a bit pricey but…it’s fresh, quality ingredients, delicious and cooked perfectly You get what you pay for!! We will be back!!!
I’m on vacation and this is one of the few places that I was able to eat at! As someone who doesn’t eat seafood I appreciate the options that they have besides seafood. I got the filet and also ordered the beachside berry blast cocktail. The cocktail was perfect and the food was to die for. I’m very sensitive and would’ve reacted before my meal was over. I mentioned the gluten free one time and the waiter was very knowledgeable and checked with the manager about the frozen berries in the cocktail! Everything was amazing and I feel perfectly fine! 1000000/10 come here to eat!
Amazing place for people with celiac. I ordered GF shrimp and scallops with potatoes and green beans and our waitress said that GF is taken very seriously since one of the owners has celiac. The food came out with a gluten free label on it, and the food runner said “gluten allergy”. The food was amazing and safe, seriously couldn’t recommend it more.
Really good food and all tasted really fresh. The staff were really nice as well. All GF items were marked on the menu.
Amazing variety of GF options. I truly didn't feel like I had to settle at all! They labeled my plates separately which also put my mind at ease. Great service!
Prior report from me on this site was:
Owner is gluten free and they really pay attention to cross contamination. I have celiac and never had an issue. Gluten free flourless chocolate cake is awesome.
After 3 or 4 visits monthly. That was then. This is Now.
Beware of croutons in your salad. Don't complain to the server or he will tell you he doesn't make your salad just writes up the order. This after he was requested to make sure my order was clearly marked for my celiac. This has happened before but met with a very apologetic server. This is the first with a surly server. Tourist season is now here so they just don't care about the regulars. After the last experience we won't return again to see if it improves in the winter.
So I LOVED LOVED my dish. Like beyond loved. I will admit I felt that slight feeling you get when you are cross contaminated. I had the Shelly’s chicken and the chocolate crème brûlée. I also witnessed the manager get into a verbal argument with a patron that felt the mac n cheese was too expensive for what they got and she let them leave mad and didn’t take it off their bill. It just kind of sat wrong with us. Anyway my dish and dessert was good but I have to be honest about the slight cross contamination feeling I had
We went all out as the menu clearly listed gluten free items. We ordered Civeche for an appetizer. This had bits of shrimp, grouper, swordfish, calamari in mango salsa on a bed of greens with plantain chips. For the entre I ha swordfish with lemon butter, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Dessert was a decadent macadamia nut creme brulee. The meal was stunning. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend this place.
Great food and the server was able to advise on what sauces are/are not gluten free for their seafood dishes. Most of the menu items are marked but some of the sauces are not. They also put in a note for the kitchen that I have celiac. I did not get sick and the food was excellent! I had a shrimp and scallops dish and both were cooked perfectly.
Our server, Deborah, guided us through the menu even though it has “GF” designators on many menu items. We split a crab tower (awesome flavor combinations); had the grouper and Golden Corvina (both cooked to perfection) as entrees; the garlic mashed potatoes were creamy; we followed up with Crème Brûlée and Chocolate Tort for desert. The chocolate tort was very rich and the crème brûlée was toasted to perfection. The experience exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the meal sitting outside. The staff all wore masks even though it was a warm evening.
The owner has celiac. There were so many GF options that it was hard to choose!! Our server was incredibly knowledgeable (thank you Tina). Food was so fresh and so delicious!
The server said they have a dedicated GF fryer and separate oven when precautions are needed. The owner has Celiac.
The staff were all extra friendly and knowledgeable. The food was AMAZING!! It was nice to have all the staff know about gluten free. The food even came out with a gluten free label. And I heard a manager tell the other table that all parties who say they have a gluten allergy get their food cook seperate to avoid cross contamination. I highly recommend this place!!
After reading good reviews I decided to stop and get dinner here before heading back home to north central FL. I get extremely sick (like bring my own utensils) from CC within an hour so I don’t mind paying more for a meal when I think it’s safe. I sat at the bar and Jacob the bartender was extremely nice and very attentive - my entree came out with a little GF flag. It’s was delicious and the dessert was very decadent but the tell tale signs of CC became present about half way through my drive home. I don’t know if it was the entree or the dessert or both but I am still currently ill from this evening’s dinner.
