So great! I go here everytime
I’m in Cambridge. Last I checked the gf goods are baked fresh but offsite.
It’s a little laughable that a place called flour has the best cross contamination management of all the bakeries/cafes around here.
If you can, order online and use the allergy designation.
Some favorites:
- seasonal gluten free muffins (made with yogurt and super moist and spongy), coconut chocolate is the current offering but my favorite is the orange cranberry
- tcho chocolate brownies (new this time, haven’t tried it)
- toast with butter and jam (made in a dedicated prep are and toaster, never got me sick)
- French toast (ditto the dedicated prep area)
- most any sandwich can be put on gf bread (today I got the roasted carrot sandwich as a salad)

I got a pre made salad that was marked gf. I saw that they had bread for sandwiches and pastries in the case. I didn't explore their cross containing policies.

Their gluten free bread for sandwiches was very good. I also appreciated that they had pastries that were dairy free and gluten free - the items were clearly identified.

The food was pretty good, but I’m not convinced it was celiac-safe. They knew what Celiac was, but I’m sitting at home dealing with the glutening so I’m pretty sure I won’t go back there.
It’s a bummer - I’ve eaten food from there before and felt fine, might just be hit or miss but one miss is too many for me.

I love this place. In house made gf focaccia, muffins, cookies. Take allergies seriously. Delicious all around!

Awesome experience, food is delicious and ask if it’s a preference or an allergy. Ordered a sandwich and the bread was so fresh, soft, good crusts and delicious. Food was very fresh and came quickly. Recommend for breakfast (also had gluten free muffins).

Gluten free bread made daily, so delicious! I have never had issues with cross contamination at Flour. They also sometimes have gluten free sweet treats. So knowledgeable about their menu items and ingredients and accommodating to gluten as well as other allergens

We just had a fantastic lunch here today. Yummy corn-based gluten free bread (foccacia like) for sandwiches and multiple gluten free dessert options (we had the brownie and the tropical muffin).

Went to the drydock location - they have gf brownies and some cheesy looking pastry. Both are right in the middle of all the other pastries. I asked for a brownie from the back that hadn't had stuff dropped on it and the lady first gave me the other gf pastry and then when I was like uhh not a brownie, she gave me the bottom brownie on the plate stack. Definitely not eating it but it looks decent.

I love Flour and all of its locations. They are very knowledgeable about allergies, and have a decently sturdy gluten free bread that most of their sandwiches can be put on— only exception would be their grilled sandwiches or naan sandwich, which cannot be made gluten free. For sweets, they have a seasonal gluten free muffin that rotates flavor, a flourless cake and flourless brownie, as well as some meringues. I only wish they had gluten free savory pastries when you want something small, because while their sandwiches are delicious, they are somewhat pricy.
