We went and checked out the new restaurant Flower Child in Frontenac. You order at a counter and they bring you your food. The menu is clearly labeled what is gluten free. Everything we had was delicious! We tried the kids chicken, salmon, shrimp, Mac n cheese, cauliflower risotto, sweet potato fries, chicken enchilada and the forbidden rice. They also had a special soup - butternut squash veggie. If you have a picky child that doesn’t like things to touch, you can ask for them to be played separately. We also tried the lemon cupcake and chocolate chip cashew cookie for dessert.

Large menu with lots of gf options. The cashier said that the staff change gloves and their “areas” when preparing orders flagged with allergies. I had the chicken, gf Mac and cheese, and the sweet potato fries. The chicken was 3.5 oz of marinated breast. It was a little dry but the herb marinade was good. The Mac and cheese was very good, made with real cheese. The sweet potato fries were not prepared correctly. They were shriveled and chewy. The gf olive oil lemon cake was awesome as was the cookie. My boyfriend had the steak with the shishito peppers and glazed sweet potatoes and said it was all delicious. I’ll probably go back just to try other options.

Bread Co style restaurant with many gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. I got the gf mac and cheese with chicken and a side of sweet potato fries. The mac and cheese was kind of bland. The sweet potato fries were very soggy, but tasted good.
I'm not in a rush to come back, but it wasn't terrible.

So many GF options on the menu. Markers show what’s GF, Vegetarian, or Vegan.
I had a salad and added salmon as my protein (they also have steak, chicken, and shrimp). Sides include gluten free mac and cheese, and roasted sweet potato fries.

I think I got glutened here. I had the chicken enchilada bowl. So disappointing because one of the workers was really enthusiastic about it being safe to eat there as a celiac. Maybe it was a fluke thing or something unrelated… hard to tell! I would probably try it one more time, and not get the chicken enchiladas. If I do, I will come back and edit my review !
