Very tasty and delicious gluten-free mac & cheese! The food is really good especially if you’re in a pinch and need something quick and GF. Make sure to tell them you are GF so that they take extra precaution.

I have been to flower child many times and their food is always delicious. If you ask the staff to make a note of a gluten allergy when ordering they can add that to the order. They have a lot of options and most of the time I have not had a problem ordering. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Excellent fresh food, many GF options. Menu is well marked for GF. Gluten free mac and cheese! GF chocolate chip cookies and brownies! Knowledgeable staff. They can modify food to meet your needs. Wish they were everywhere!

I told the counter person I had celiac and ordered a dish that she assured me was safe. I ate several bites before I realized it was dusted with breadcrumbs! I was horrified and complained. The same woman who'd taken my order didn't at all seem to understand what I was saying or why i was upset The manager was kind and apologetic, but I realized the staff was not trained or aware, despite the gf options on the menu.

Not a dedicated gluten free restaurant BUT without asking, when I asked what items are prepared with the lowest risk for CC, the knowledgeable young lady said I could have anything gluten free and they would use celiac protocols. Most of the menu was gluten free but mine was prepared with clean gloves, utensils, etc. It was delicious and my daughter loved it too. I had queso and the chicken burrito. Can’t wait to go back! Hope they open one in the north suburbs soon.
