We attended a Chef’s Table dinner at Fogtown in April 2022.
We reached out in advance to inquire about gluten free options. Here is the response:
“Absolutely. I actually have celiac sprue myself. Instead of sending out focaccia for them, I will send out a gluten-free cracker. The only thing with gluten on the menu is the bread. I also handle that in a completely different area of the prep kitchen. It’s very easy for me to switch gloves and keep their‘s on a special board on the line. Having had bad experiences myself I take it very seriously.”
When we arrived, the chef, Kat, specifically asked to meet me, “I want to have eyes on my gluten free diner.” She listed off the precautions she was taking. She also brought my entrees to me personally.
I’ve never felt safer in a restaurant, and the food/service was amazing.
They have a line of gluten free beer too.
