This place goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you. My friend has celiac and I have allergies to gluten/wheat and dairy as well as some other things. The server Davette immediately got the manager, Eve, who sat down with us and went over options. Then, she called Edward out who is he boss and works in the kitchen, also has a son who has celiac and other allergies, and he went over everything even checked in the back on ingredients for us, prepared the grill so there was no cross contamination and then made sure it all came out perfectly. They frequently checked in on us to make sure all was well! I had zero worries eating there!!!
Yesterday went to lunch there. Server took my gluten allergy seriously and got the Manager. Manager’s son has Celiac Disease so he is very knowledgeable. Not only do they take gluten allergy serious but all food allergies.
Menu has red dots next to items that can be made gluten free. Menu had several choices. I got Fords Signature chicken sandwich with a side romaine salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious
Looking forward to going back Much Gratitude to the entire staff for keeping my food allergy safe
My daughter and I both have Celiacs. We struggled on our trip to find gluten free options. Fords was awesome. We shared a delicious burger and mashed potatoes and got a chicken dish with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The buns were so good we bought two to go. While thanking the manager I found out his kiddo also has celiac. (No dedicated fryer)
Have been here three times. They offer gluten free buns and the staff and manager are trained on gluten allergies. My first experience was fairly good. However, after informing my waitress of my celiac’s, my gluten free burger came out with a single French fry sitting on the tray. Not cool at all. Could’ve made me very sick.
The waitress and manager apologized profusely, and the manager pointed out that they really try to go above and beyond for allergies. However, I could not trust the cook after the carelessness that was displayed. Clearly they had my meal labeled as a gluten allergy and still brought fries over it or near it.
That said, I’ll give this place another try at some point.
Ate there yesterday. Food is good. Generous portion. They GF items are marked on the menu. The have GF buns. The fries are cooked in their own fryer but not considered gf. I took the risk and did not get sick. The broccoli had clearly flash fried so watch for cross contamination for those too if you have very sensitive.
Very few gf options and fries are not gf which was disappointing. Food was mediocre. Not great, not terrible. Husband said the same thing about his “gluten” meal
We had a great experience. My husband is celiac and I have an intolerance (migraines). They have a gluten free bun, menu marked with gluten free main dishes and a few options for sides. Our server ensured our order was flagged to prevent cross contamination (stated the kitchen prepares with changed gloves as well). Overall we both did not have any issues. We will go back.
food took more than 2 hours to come out. i told the waiter i was gluten free, he said the truffle fries were fine for me. the food came out (burger with no bun as the gf buns were unavailable), and the truffle fries did not look gluten free. i then asked a manager and he told me they were not safe to eat as they had been partially battered! the waiter had clearly ignored me insisting multiple times that i could not eat gluten (coeliac). they came out with a small plain chicken breast and mash potatoes 30 minutes later, after the rest of my party had finished their food. all in all was a terrible experience !!
