The atmosphere was great, the server was extremely helpful. Appreciated the gluten free menu which covered entrees not starters and dessert. Did not try the fries as there is no dedicated fryer. Otherwise there was a wide variety of ciders on the menu as well as Omission Gluten Free beer.
We had a great experience. My husband is celiac and I have an intolerance (migraines). They have a gluten free bun, menu marked with gluten free main dishes and a few options for sides. Our server ensured our order was flagged to prevent cross contamination (stated the kitchen prepares with changed gloves as well). Overall we both did not have any issues. We will go back.
food took more than 2 hours to come out. i told the waiter i was gluten free, he said the truffle fries were fine for me. the food came out (burger with no bun as the gf buns were unavailable), and the truffle fries did not look gluten free. i then asked a manager and he told me they were not safe to eat as they had been partially battered! the waiter had clearly ignored me insisting multiple times that i could not eat gluten (coeliac). they came out with a small plain chicken breast and mash potatoes 30 minutes later, after the rest of my party had finished their food. all in all was a terrible experience !!
Mentioned that I could not have gluten, dairy and soy. The chef came out to talk with me. I ordered the Model A hamburger minus the cheese and spices and the French fries. They have a gluten free bun but didn’t order it. They cooked the burger in the oven and the egg was cooked in a separate fry pan. I had green bean side. Perfect
