I have been many times in the past and did not have a problem or concern. However when I ordered today they said they cook the pizzas on the same surface in the oven and “sweep the surface” of the oven before cooking the gluten free pizza. The waiter shared they just brush the flour to the side and then put the gluten free pizza directly on the surface. They were not willing to make the gluten free pizza in a separate pan so I ended up with a salad.

This place is phenomenal and a personal favorite. The pizza is some of the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, and everyone I’ve shared it with has said the same thing. I’ve gone multiple times and never gotten sick and always felt very safe. Pro-tip: I recommend calling ahead and reserving a gluten free pizza dough in advance.

Outstanding gluten free pizza. It's so good the first time I had it, I was worried I had been given the wrong pizza. But no, it's just really that good. I've eaten here many times and never gotten sick.

Unfortunately, the crust is made with wheat starch and not 100% gluten free

Run, don't walk to this fantastic and delicious pizza place! Although not labeled on the menu, they have gluten-free salads, some appetizers, and an amazing gluten-free pizza crust. Our server was very knowledge about celiac and what I could and could not have. He even told me about their pizza flour that they use and showed me where I could buy it to experience amazing crust at home. I ordered their award winning Caputo cup pizza and it was so delicious. I ate the entire thing, (no judgment). Our table also split a prosciutto and cheese board and one of the salads. They kept the bread on the side so I could enjoy. Please note that you should call ahead to reserve a gluten-free crust since they do run out. Also, the crust is not safe if you have a wheat allergy, it is gluten-free but the wheat starch they use would still give a wheat allergy person a bad reaction.

Ever since living in Italy, I’ve been looking for a gluten free pizza that even comes close to comparing. Forno Rosso does that and more. Call ahead to reserve gluten free crusts in advance. No separate pizza oven, but me and another celiac went several times and never had any issues

Amazing. I’m still looking for an ACTUAL great pizza, that happens to be GF. (Not “great in comparison to my lower bar set for GF……”) Incredible! I got the bulafina pizza. I asked for extra cheese because I wanted more of a typical cheese pizza feel, and if you order regular, I looked like, from photos anyway, that the fresh cheese doesn’t fully cover the pie (that’s just the purposeful style of the pizza). Next time, I’d order it normally. I do love the cheese but I could tell if I got it made regularly, it’d be a better balance with the sauce. Sauce was amazing. Crust was crispy. After about 30-40 mins, the crust suffered, but didn’t affect me. Amazing!

Best gluten-free and dairy free (marinara) pizza! Looks and tastes just as good as the regular pizza. A bit pricey but worth every bite.

UPDATE: owner told me that it isn’t possible for them to avoid cross contamination 100%. The surface the pizzas are cooked on is the same as the regular pizzas. I asked them to use foil, and they said it still wouldn’t be safe.
My stomach has never been affected from eating here multiple times, but I just found this information out.

The absolute best gluten free pizza in Chicago! Chewy crust that is made from scratch daily. With or without cheese, the pizza is incredible!

Owner is a trash human and picked a fight like some roided out meat head. He belongs on the jersey shore. Pizzas not worth the money at all unless you want to cook it yourself. I feel bad for anyone who works for this ass.

This is hands down the best gf pizza in the world let alone Chicago (spaces Napoli is not as good). I’ve lived in Italy for multiple years and tried countless great gf pizzas throughout but none compare to FR

One of the best gluten free pizzas I’ve had!
Fabulous gluten free pizza. Staff are great about making dairy free accommodations too. It is, however, cooked in the same oven so the highly sensitivity it won’t be a good option. Best to call ahead (even if it’s the same day) to reserve a crust. We always get great service!
They take gluten free seriously. It’s best to call ahead to reserve one of their gluten free crusts. Then when you order they make your gluten free pizza when there is a lull in the kitchen so there is little chance of cross contamination. I’m happy to wait to be sure that it’s gluten free.
This is my favorite gluten free pizza in Chicago.

Best GF pizza ever!!!! very GF knowledgeable. We have GF pizza all over the country and by far this is the best! The hot oil is to die for! they have 2 in Chicago area. We like the West loop location vibe!
The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. The gluten free pizza was delicious!! You do have to call and reserve the GF in advance but worth it! Will absolutely be back!!
Yes
Came here once before and the pizza was amazing. Now being told you have to make a reservation for gf, otherwise they only make it after 4?? Buh bye.
The pizza is delicious but is almost never available. The restaurant asks that you call ahead to reserve crusts more than a day in advance. GF crusts are almost never available for delivery and are rarely available for walk-ins, in my experience. It’s a shame because the pizza tastes great

You have to (should) call ahead and reserve your GF dough! The crust was crispy and still soft. The staff asked right away about allergies. Fresh and delicious ingredients. It was easy to get off and on the highway too.

Most delicious GF pizza crust! In fact had to have my husband try it just to confirm that they didn’t make a mistake in the kitchen. However, I will mention that there is risk of cross contamination. I woke up the next day feeling a little bloated and off, but not sick like I have from eating GF at other pizza places. Our server forewarned me that while they do take many precautions, if I was highly sensitive/allergic I could have a reaction. I appreciated his honesty and concern for my health. Since I’m not celiac (just gluten intolerant) I would definitely return again just so I could enjoy such delicious pizza.
The reviews are true! This was the most delicious gluten free pizza and crust I've ever eaten! Staff was great. I highly recommend.

Amazing pizza, best gf I’ve EVER had including the gf pizza in italy. Decent prices also, super accommodating staff and thoughtful gf process
This place has the best gluten free pizza I've ever had... and I've tried a lot. They do a great job of making it feel like a neopolitan crust. Note that it is cooked in a shared oven, though they say they use a separate peel and wash down the area for the gluten feee pizza
