This was the only place I wanted to come to when we were visiting Seattle. This place surpassed my expectations. The mint brownie ice cream was mine blowing, and the waffle cones were even better. Everything was gluten and dairy free. The people were so sweet and things were also labeled if coconut was used.

all gluten free, all vegan! they do use oats, but they’re GF certified oats, I know some folks still have sensitivities to them regardless so keep that in mind.

we got a flight with the cone shatter (GF waffle cones!!) of strawberry milk, chocolate tahini super cookie, and the California cabin. I loved the strawberry and my boyfriend loved all the chocolate flavors they offered.

If you look closely on their website they say they may not be celiac safe as they get ingredients from cross contaminated suppliers. So infuriating as I used to love going here. Before I knew this I got sick here once as I thought they were gf safe for Celiacs but I guess not safe enough for me :(

This is the best non-dairy ice cream I’ve ever had! I’m not dairy-free so I have pretty high expectations for ice cream. Frankie & Jo’s blew me away! It’s incredibly creamy and delicious. The waffle cone is great too. They also have ice cream sandwiches in their freezer case, which is a fun gf treat. I will say, this is the most expensive ice cream I’ve ever had. I paid $13 pre-tax for an ice cream cone with two scoops. Be prepared to spend $$, but I’d say it’s worth it every now and then if you’re gluten and/or dairy free. Most of their ice cream is coconut milk based, so if you’re not a fan of coconut, make sure to find the 2 or so flavors not made with coconut milk.

Definitely the best gluten free waffle cone in the city… actually, probably the best waffle cone in the city, period, AND the only gf one! Super creative ice cream flavors with mind-blowing staples and seasonal flavors. I don’t love everything I’ve ever tried, but that hardly matters when there are SO MANY that I have!

Oh my gosh! So good! The biggest problem was deciding what flavors to have! The entire place is GF and Vegan. If you’re sensitive to oats maybe skip it because almost everything is oat based. Their ice cream is so flavorful and creamy.

This was a really great place and experience. I have a relative visiting from TN who must be dairy free and has severe allergies to almonds and peanut butter. She was so thrilled with the three flavors she tried. I have Celiac so I was so excited to learn all of their products, including the sugar cones, are gluten free. The ice cream was delicious and it was my first scoop in a cone in probably four years. So great! The staff were really cool too.

Everything is made with oat flour which has recently been making news as not usually actually free of gluten…and I’ve been sick since eating here (and after the fact realizing that I should have checked beyond inquiring about everything being 100% gf.) Their website says they use ingredients from shared kitchens as well so not celiac safe unfortunately. I should have asked more questions.

Omgggg this ice cream is the most amazing ice cream ever!!!! I love that this is a completely gluten free and peanut free facility! But it is VERY expensive. Our two ice creams (not even in a come) was $19!

We had a scoop of lemon and strawberry and then a scoop of carrot cake and mint brownie! Super super delicious!!

Oh my, heaven on earth!! Dedicated GF and DF and so so so delicious!!! I took family that CAN eat gluten and dairy and they loved it just as much as I did!!! Highly highly recommend. Oh and did I mention on a waffle cone!! Heaven!! Oh amd they let you sample the flavors so I ended up with 3 different flavor scoops in my cone because I couldn’t choose. So so good!!

They can do no wrong. I love bringing people here who don’t have gluten or dairy restrictions because they can’t tell the difference. My husband (who has zero food restrictions) prefers them to any of the other local spots. It’s a must eat if you’re visiting but if you live here be careful because it’s totally addicting. Also the gluten free waffle cones are great just a little crunchier than normal waffle cones.
