Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Stopped for a quick little something in the way to a concert near the Nampa, ID location. I asked for just a burger patty. Server offered me a lettuce wrapped Steakburger. It was very fresh and tasty, and the custard was great. Maybe not the fanciest, biggest meal, but very clean restaurant, good service, safe food. Price was reasonable.

Asked for a GF burger and the cashier said what is that? I asked for a manager and she went over and asked her manager what gf was and her manager said oh just lettuce wrap the burger. I was nervous to try eating here but did anyways. I didn't get sick from eating here.

I dont know many places that are willing to leave the bun off but they are it was super good.

It grills the patties on the same grill that they use to warm the buns

This is a good place for a lettuce wrapped burger but they don’t have any actual gluten free or specifically celiac friendly options. The custard is good but be mindful that it contains eggs. They do have a user friendly allergen menu on Google as well.

— Average

The meat is so thin it’s mainly fried blood! I got sick eating the fries Do not eat the chili that’s for sure Ice cream is good but that’s the only thing

They do have lettuce wraps for all of their burgers. They marked my order as an allergy, but don’t know what happened in the kitchen.

I asked if the fries were fried in a separate fryer!!! Yes!!! Also they offer a lettuce wrap, but the burger was greasy, so didn’t stay well, but delicious. 2 thumbs for Freddy’s!
