Said there fries were gluten free but I got sick after eating them. There stake burger was not as good and had less meat than In N Out. Not a repeater

They'll lettuce wrap your burger, but they told me they didn't have a dedicated gluten free fryer. They told me I could risk it, but since they occasionally fry chicken or onion rings they can't guarantee it. Looks risky all around for those with celiac.

GREAT PLACE!! Freddy's is like In & Out and Steak & Shake (from back east). Loved the way they totally enclose the burger in lettuce so it's not so messy. Burger had great flavor with just onion. The way they do it is much better than In & Out! Fries are shoestring type, cooked in a dedicated fryer, and come in a large serving with the meal option. My wife (not Celiac) and I shared a frozen custard that was fantastic! If you're traveling and a Freddy's Steakburger, don't pass it by.

The staff was knowledgeable. They offered lettuce wrapped burgers. They have a dedicated fryer for their fries. Lots of options. Very impressed!

According to their website, the fries and custard are GF. I had both of those with no issues. They offer a lettuce-wrapped burger.
Food was great. The atmosphere was really loud making it hard to communicate with cashiers. I did have to tell the cook because the cashier didn’t ring it up as a lettuce wrap for an allergy even though she repeated it back to me. The cook changed gloves and made my order right there in front of me.

One of our first road trips and I was a bit hesitant. Reviews on here helped us select Freddys based on reviews. My 13 year old was just diagnosed with celiac. She loves Freddy’s and was excited to see the good reviews here. We inquired about the fryer and they indicated it wasn’t separate. But they were extremely careful about her hamburger without a bun. Gloved, noted separate and double layered the paper on the burger basket. No apparent issues.

The location looks like it is brand new: perfectly clean, bright, and meticulously cared for inside and our.
What truly set it apart, however, was the care and attention given to our family's dining needs. The cashier had the manager speak with us to ensure our food was safely prepared, which he did personally. Finding a fast food restaurant with gluten-free options as well as vegetarian choices is hard to come by, this will be a new regular stop for us.
We told them we had a Celiac child and they provided a kids meal with a bunless Burger lettuce wrap, applesauce, and baked lays.
Their gummy worms are black forest brand and also GF!

This Freddy’s location has a dedicated fryer at this time, but definitely ask before you order. My celiac son is not as sensitive as some, but we have eaten here many times without him having any symptoms.

After searching through their allergen menu and speaking with an employee, I ordered a double steakburger wrapped in lettuce. Their chili is also gluten free and yummy. Their fries are not in a dedicated fryer so do not get fries. (Go next door to Canes for fries. They're in a dedicated fryer)
