To be 100% transparent, I came here before I was diagnosed and the food was not cooked well or seasoned- extremely bland and forgettable. My feeling is that if you can’t get the glutened food right, the gf food is usually at the same level or worse. Even with limited options for celiac safe in Hampton Roads, I would not come here again.

My server was great. I ordered veggie Thai curry and rice, working then to change gloves and use a clean pan. it was tasty and plenty of food.

I decided to give it a try even though there were mixed reviews. Really wished I had listened. I ordered the filet mignon and it was terrible. I reacted like I had eaten gluten. Somehow the cook managed to burn the outside but the inside was bleeding ( I specifically asked that the steak be cook enough so it was not bleeding). My husband is not gluten free but had to send his appetizer back twice before it was hot enough to eat. The waiter was nice and the restaurant is pretty(its an old church), food is terrible. They did take the appetizer off the bill.

Do NOT come here. I repeat do NOT come here. I ordered a chicken caesar salad off the gluten free menu. The salad arrived without chicken and without croutons so it appeared safe. Not exactly what I ordered but safe none the less. Sadly shortly after consuming the salad I began to feel the symptoms of cross-contamination. I am only giving 1 star because it is the minimum rating.
As some who is celiac and vegan, they were extremely accommodating. Great service, great atmosphere and I did not get sick. Definitely would visit again.
Havnt even ordered yet and completely turned off by the staff.
Crab dip was amazinggggggg! Coolest atmosphere inside of an old church!

I have eaten here twice, both times I got the gluten free filet mignon. The first time, the server did not know what Celiac Disease was when I asked him to please inform the kitchen I had CD, but came back and asked when he had a spare moment after putting in our order. He assured me the Chef said they knew what it was. I never mind explaining it to educate people, and appreciated that he cared enough to ask. The second time I was here I had a different server who knew what CD was. The first time my steak was over cooked (I ordered medium and got medium well), the second time I ordered medium rare and got the medium steak I wanted. The ambiance is lovely and unique, and the service is prompt. I did not get sick after eating here either time.

Ordered a gluten free dish and specified ALLERGY because I have celiac disease. Food came and it was pasta, the menu said it would be over rice. I asked....waitress was clueless. 20 mins later after my whole family finished their meal it came back over rice with no apology or explanation from the manager. And my stomach is sick tonight. BEWARE if your a celiac

We have eaten here many times and never had any issues. Both my wife and son are celiac.

Gluten free and vegetarian options. Waiter and chef very accommodating and altered the chef special to fit my needs (also including cane sugar, dairy, and eggs). Food was fantastic.
