This is one of my (celiac) boyfriend’s favorite places for brunch in Minneapolis! Recently he got the classic breakfast (eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast) and loved it! They have lots of GF options marked on the menu, and we’ve always had good experiences with knowledgeable and friendly servers.

I had the green curry as it was marked GF and seemed like a safe/easy GF option. It was delicious and I did not get sick.
Waitress stated the fryer is dedicated GF.

Tons of GF options. Cannot confirm how good they are about cross contamination but I did not get sick afterwards.

Just got done eating here and definitely got contaminated. I had the salmon Benedict with the gluten free bread… i questioned if the bread was gluten free. And was sick an hour later. It was either not gluten free at all or somehow got contaminated.

Verified when making reservations, as well as with the staff when ordering, of their protocols to avoid cross contamination and that all ingredients used were gluten free for my order. Was told that they take these things very seriously. I got terribly sick from eating there and by the end of the meal, I had mentioned it to the staff. I was shrugged off and when mention again I was ignored.

The French Meadow Bakery stand at the MN State Fair had so many gluten free options š GF chocolate chip cookie, sconuts, earth wings, & risotto poppers. Everything was so die for 𤤠the sconuts were one of the best things I have ever eaten!!! My mouth is watering just looking at that picture again. They prepare all GF items in a designated area and they have a separate frier which was awesome. Cheers to not getting sick from cross contamination! Thank you @frenchmeadowcafe ā¤
Thought this was a safe place to eat, but ordered the gluten free mac & cheese and had a reaction.
I enjoyed the gluten free/vegan waffles I ordered! They were delicious.
They had a number of gluten free offerings. I ordered the chicken and was very pleased. I was not sick and would gladly return

Lots of options and food was delicious!

The service was great, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the meal. I had the bison burger with french fries, and it was a fairly disappointing experience. When asked for a gluten free bun, was given gluten free bread instead. The blue cheese is extremely overpowering over the burger itself and the bread didn’t really help the experience. French fries were okay, but the ketchup they have instead of the regular kind isn’t an improvement. For the price and the product given, I wouldn’t really recommend this place.

Visited two years ago and food was very good as well as service. Asa part of six changed less gluten free items and quality poor on one item bison burger was spoiled. Other dishes were just average this vegetables undercooked. Dessert portions. are small for price. The staff was polite but unable to handle number of clients.
I won’t be back. I’ve eaten here before but I recently got a Nima sensor so I was excited to test out my breakfast. I ordered the cornmeal waffle which comes with walnuts and bananas. I was told it is cooked on its own separate waffle maker. I tested it twice. Came back both times with ‘gluten found’. I told the staff and they apologized and said they would tell the chef. They did offer to get me something else. Maybe other items are safer but I personally wouldn’t trust any of the baked good either. So disappointed!

This place is phenomenal. I accidentally discovered this place while visiting friends. Best accident ever. I think I ate here 3 times that week. Literally everything on the menu is great. Great farm to table atmosphere and food.

I’ve eaten here multiple times (Celiac) - the only time I had an issue was when I ordered soup and they added bread to the side that was not GF. Since then, I’ve not purchased anything that contains any of their bread/ bakery items and no issues. Staff overall is very knowledgeable. Favorite dish is the Cajun Hashbrowns.

have eaten here a few times and have never felt sick after. the staff was very friendly and accommodating!
I've eaten there twice and it was delicious. Can't tell if I was glutened or not because I had already been glutened earlier elsewhere but it's concerning to me that the "gluten free" cakes are stored open air on a shelf underneath regular cakes and they seemed offended when I suggested the risk of cross contamination of falling crumbs. This makes me nervous about gf any of their food is.

Absolutely amazing! So many delicious gluten free options (and vegan options too!) I would highly recommend the Cornmeal waffle (if you like bananas), Blueberry corn pancake, bacon, fresh squeezed lemonade with agave, and their long list of gluten free cakes! We got the Ligonberry almond torte cake and it was amazing!
Great GF takeout option when you don't feel like cooking.
Spent $25 on desserts and coffee and weren't allowed to sit outside in front. Banished to the side. Lots of dessert options but they were so so.

I loved this place! I had the mac and cheese, chips and guac, and a bloody mary. Absolutely delicious and I will be back again!

I get sick every time I attempt to eat here. It all tastes wonderful, however, I won't go to a place where I get sick every time I eat there.
Update: I have successfully eaten here once thanks to my gluten detecting dog.

Lots of GF options, not too mention healthy ingredients. had cocktail which was well made during happy hour. GF dessert options galore, including cakes! soup, open face steak sandwich, and cake were delicious.
I love the Mac and cheese. Also the gluten free cake fantastic!

This place was amazing!! I wish I lived closer so I could come here often!! I had the Mac and cheese and I cannot remember that last time I ate Mac and cheese!! It was delicious! And the selection of desserts!! I felt like I was in a candy store!!

Tons of options that are already GF - no adjustments needed! This is my go-to spot. Potato Flatbread, gluten free chicken and waffles, Mac and cheese. Everything is phenomenal.
Disappointed. My celiac dad and sis are there a couple years ago and said it was amazing but I was super disappointed and to be honest my stomach hurt right after I ate it. I went there with friends and they didn't like the food either. I had slice of coconut cake and a slice of choc mousse.

Fantastic! I have never once had a problem with cross contamination! The staff is well educated and the Mac and cheese is the best!
Staff is educated well and the food is amazing. I have never had a reaction any of the Times I've eaten there.

Good food with gf options but I've gotten sick every time I've eaten here. Who would've thought a bakery would be rampant with cross contamination?

Love their food! They have tons of gf options and I've never gotten sick once from cross-contamination. I also appreciate being able to eat their french fries, yum!

Delicious mini GF cupcakes, taste just like a wheat flour cupcake. A bit pricey for a mini cupcake.
So many options

Ate here with my date for a belated Valentine dinner. It was freezing in the restaurant, they had no gluten free bread, they ran out of iced tea so we were brought alternatives, and my husband ordered his bison burger without dressing but waitress had to return it to the kitchen to "fix" it because it came with it, anyway. No gluten-free beer options and limited GF menu. The fish tacos were a whole lotta lettuce and not much else on the plate. Husband said the bison burger was flavorless.
It's 2:00 am now and it's pretty clear that I'm feeling the after effects of being glutened. We won't go back.

Fish tacos, pomme-frites and chocolate tart. Oh my!!
the service we received was not very friendly, and I was limited to fish tacos, crab cakes, or salads for gf options. however the fish tacos were delish!
