Fried chicken and cheddar waffles was divine. Don’t be intimidated if there is a long wait for a table because they can do everything on the menu to go.
The staff here was extremely nice and almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free!
Get the Chicken and waffles! It was fabulous.
Staff very knowledgeable, 99% of the menu can be made GF.
I had a great veggie sandwich with fries - very tasty! Sensitive celiac and did not get sick!!
Great gf burger/ bun, clean deep fryer for fries, pancake looks amazing, still need to try. A must when in nyc!
Great place for celiac. Good choices and clearly identified GF plates. Well done!
amazing selection nice staff. would have given 5 stars but I waited 25 min for a take out grilled cheese. it was delicious.
Delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch food and love that the gluten free items come with a flag saying so.
Great lunch stop in Chelsea Market! Loved my gluten free chicken burger... very accommodating and mark their meals gluten free
I got the pastrami sandwich on gluten free bread with fries. I gave it five stars because they took my celiacs seriously and I didn’t have any issues and it was nice to be able to eat a sandwich that didn’t fall apart. The food wasn’t really that flavorful tho - I’d go back, but I wouldn’t get a sandwich again
Excellent service and food. I have celiac and they double checked ingredients for me. Had the chicken and waffles, and it was great. No reaction! Will def. return!!
Amazing food! Celiac Safe! I wish they had an upper east side location.
I will eat here everytime I'm in New York. Friendly knowledgeable staff and good quick service. Almost everything is gluten free! My husband and I split the chicken and waffles, and the ruben sandwich. It was our favourite meal of the whole trip! Really delicious!
almost everything in the restaurant is GF. It's my favorite place to eat because I never have too worry sky bring contaminated. the food is excellent.
So good with allergies! I had my heart set on the fried chicken but couldn't have the waffles due to an annatto allergy and the cheddar cheese, so they allowed for the waffles to be swapped out for a side with no extra charge. The fried chicken was amazing! So juicy and crispy all at the same time! Been here a few times since: definitely recommend the Mac and cheese and the Mediterranean shrimp salad! My two favorite things there!
Excellent!! Had the spaghetti squash that comes with gluten free toast, and it was amazing. Our server was great managing gluten free, and really took care to make sure that I was safe.
This place was excellent. Most everything is gluten free. Our chicken sandwich was incredible. The bun was not dry at all. We'll go back
Almost everything in the menu is GF, or can be made GF. And the gluten-free is served on a special plate with a GF sign. And did I mention the food is amazing?!?! Best breakfast/ brunch in the city! And convenient- it's inside Chelsea Market. I'm celiac, as are my 2 kids and we've eaten here a hundred times and never had an issue. Here's a picture of the GF pancakes.
Had a delicious lunch! Everything can be made gluten-free. Even got a gluten-free flag on my food. Did not get sick!
Absolutely love this place! So many gluten free options and they take the allergy seriously--been here many times and have never been sick!
Good for gluten free
AMAZING!!!! This place is incredible! Great healthy salads and they have GF Fried Chicken and chicken and waffles! Even fries were safe!
Yum! GF Reuben and herbed fries! Went for brunch- menu a little different than lunch. Also had gf fried chicken & cheddar waffle- daughter loved it. Was crowded and hot in the restaurant, and one of our servers was not friendly at all, but would definitely recommend
Awesome food, a little expensive for normal people. Highly recommend if in area
Don't know how this place gets a bad review, because it's awesome! I have celiac and went there today for brunch with some gluten eating friends and all of us were absolutely impressed by the food. Lots of choices, very caring servers, they all new about celiac and cross contamination, dishes were clearly marked GF when they came to the table. If I have to say something bad, my only complaint is that the place needs to be bigger to accommodate more people. Place was packed, but after about 15 minutes, we got a table. It was worth the wait.
The waitress had no idea what a glutton free menu referred to. She recommended salads and items that obviously were glutton free. I was embarrassed. I had organz2d a brunch around the the review I found here. It was not good. Especially after a long wait.
Excellent place for breakfast/lunch! Staff knows everything there is to know about the menu and most items can be made gf. I had the special - gf waffle with braised short rib hash and an egg on top, with a side salad. Absolutely fantastic!
Just perfect for out of towners exploring our GF options!!! We ate the GF fried chicken and waffles for the first time.
Yes! Delicious and fabulous for both me and my non-GF friend. One of the restaurant's founders has Celiacs and insisted that the restaurant be friendly and safe to the gluten intolerant. They have now expanded to four locations throughout Manhattan. If you're looking for a safe, delicious bite, check them out!
Not only is there a gf menu, but it's so extensive I didn't know what to do with myself! Fried chicken and cheddar waffles was the best, although the sandwiches looked amazing too. A must-go!
Celiac Heaven! I ate here three times during a short trip to New York (once at the Chelsea location, twice at the Herald Sq location). Very Celiac-aware staff (my server even had Celiac!) Everything but two things on the menu can be made gluten free. Went with two "gluten eaters"...we shared the gluten free artichoke dip (amazing), I had a burger and fries - fries were awesome, burger good. Friends had turkey burger and Reuben sandwich. Both raved about their food. Definitely recommend as a safe, enjoyable place to eat. Yay!
My brunch was absolutely delicious and the waiter was well trained. Long wait for a table on a Saturday because it's in Chelsea Market.
A must try. The gluten free breaded chicken sandwich is one of the best things I've eaten in 10 years. Gluten free food served on square plates. All around excellent choice.
Really really good place! Food was great, friendly staff and after lunch/dinner I actually just wanted to eat here every evening of my trip to New York, cause it was so good and really safe for celiac people! Highly recommend it!
definitely a great NYC spot for gluten free. grilled reuben was delicious! very friendly service.
Wow! This place is a treasure. Definitely one of the best gluten free meals I have had in years. I NEVER thought I would have a rubin like this. The bread was delicious and fried. The place was extremely busy but moving efficiently and the service was good. Can't believe they serve breaded gluten free chicken! REAl gluten free! I felt very safe. can't wait to visit New York again and have another meal.
Some of the best service as far as knowledgable staff! I felt very safe. The owners daughter is gluten free so they ensure a completely safe kitchen including dedicated fryers and areas. I had the fried chicken and waffles. So delicious!
Inside Chelsea Market this eatery serves gluten-free options. If you are looking for homemade comfor t food, then this is your spot. Choose from items such as Pastrami Hash, Fried Oyster Benedict and Fried Chicken & Cheddar Waffles.
Amazing gluten free options! I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with rosemary fries, something which I would never dream of being able to have anywhere else. The food was outstanding, best gluten free meal since being diagnosed coeliac 3 years ago!
Great grilled cheese
Decent restaurant w/very good gluten free menu and cross-contamination procedures. Came here for brunch with several people and the food was fine - I ordered the salmon benedict, which I liked a lot. Husband got one of the specials for the day (duck hash, I think) and thought it was just ok. We also ordered gluten free pastrami sandwiches to go and they were not great. The pastrami was tough and gristly and parts of it were inedible. The staff was friendly and was very up on gluten free/celiac and avoiding cross-contamination. I'd definitely go back - hope the bad pastrami was a fluke and not what they usually serve!
The food is amazing. As well as the service. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive to your GF needs. I will definitively be back.
First time here. Best GF fried chicken with sweet potato fries. I was in HEAVEN!!
Awesome. Delicious. Menu with GF options. Knowledgable about Celiac, and they take the appropriate precautions.
Can't arrive 20 minutes prior to brunch ending... Food may be good, but bad service will ruin an experience EVERY TIME!
this place is amazing- went to their new location on 31st & 6th for dinner, twice. Everything I've and my guest have had has been great. I usually get the buccatelli with mushrooms and add grilled chicken. I also get herbed fries as a nice appetizer to snack on. Guests have gotten the tomato soup and fish tacos. The beer is great as well.
went there and had pastrami Reuben it was amazing. a little on the pricey side for a sandwich that comes with no sides but it was probably the best Reuben I ever had and it was like 3 inches thick. I thought it was well worth it
I'm so sad to give this place a bad review but it has to be done. First time I went there I enjoyed my overpriced meal and decided to give it another go. Today I had a turkey sandwich and asked for a gf roll. Halfway through I realized that there was something wrong. It didn't taste, look, feel or act like gf bread. I know UDI's makes amazing gf bread but this wasn't it. I asked the server if it was absolutely gf bread and he replied "yes, it's on a rectangle plate". I guess that's how the servers differentiate. But I wasn't convinced. I wish I had asked him to bring it back to make sure bc now I'm home sick and miserable.
