Very nice meal. Had grouper. The waiter very helpful. Came back to make sure that my meal was entirely gluten free. Did not get sick

I was excited to have some fries bc reviews said they have a dedicated fryer, but our waitress said they no longer do. She was very nice and assured us that she would speak directly to the chef about our allergy. I ordered a steamed, peel-your-own shrimp bc that sounded safe but they served it with corn fritters (not GF). Took it back and gave me a new one within 2 min, so I wonder if they actually made a new one or reused… My daughter and I both did not get sick, but probably won’t be back.

the appetizer shrimp and the salmon with fries were amazing, waiter knew enough to get me ordered. but the food was spectacular.

Waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. I ate the stuffed tilapia and fries (fries are in a dedicated fryer)! Make sure you tell them not to include the corn fritters on your plate because they come with most of the meals.

No gluten free menu and GF options were not marked. The menu was kind of confusing especially when trying to avoid cross contamination. The server said she knew about GF but didn't help with the menu or offer options. We ate there for lunch and got the "Trio" then they allowed us to sub vegetables for the clam chowder. The food was tasty but serving sizes were kind of small.

No dedicated GF menu, no menu markings. Waitress said “just ask her, she knows”.

There's nothing parked GF on the menu but the manager was very knowledgeable. She went back and talked to the cook and actually watched them prepare my meal so that it was safe. I had the grilled grouper with shrimp and scallops and rice. Very good!

No gluten free menu and had some gluten free options but not many. Much of the food was deep fried and they use shared friers so risk of cross contamination. Food quality was decent but not sure I'd go back.

No gluten free menu, but there are gluten free items on the menu. The servers (at least mine, a woman named Deborah) are very knowledgeable on gluten and cross-contamination and she told me that they make sure the chef and all the people handling the food are aware that it's gluten-free/an allergy thing. Some of the prices can get a bit into the higher range, but that is mostly because it's seafood. There are also items that range from $10-15 that are pretty good.

Friendly Fisherman no longer has a GF menu, the majority of the food is not GF. Over priced for too few options.
