I was completely chuffed to discover From Across The Pond is back…and better than ever! Had the GF onion rings, fish & chips, and blonde ale with sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Also tasted the cottage pie. Everything was DELISH!! You’d never know anything was GF (the true test) and everything being NF was an added bonus. This is a MUST for anyone craving delicious GF pub grub!

Food was great! I am celiac and did not get sick, however I did eat too much because I couldn’t decide and order several items. Onion rings are amazing! Chicken tenders are fantastic and the bread pudding is a must! We also ordered the Mac and cheese and beef stew. Both very good also! Would definitely hit this place up again when visiting. If I lived here I would probably come once a week!

Almost their entire menu can be made GF! Including fish and chips, which were absolutely delicious. The GF chicken tikka misala was also delicious. GF beer options too! So wonderful to have a restaurant dedicated to GF, and to be able to eat with no fear! Good service, with lots of casual outdoor seating.

Wow! If you are Celiac, gluten sensitive or just want something different, I highly recommend this place. The food is wonderful. I had the Beef and Ale stew and some gluten free bread on the side. It was wonderful. I also had a pint of Holidaily Favorite Blonde gluten free beer which they have on tap! For dessert I had the sticky bread pudding. Just go! You will be glad you did.

I am a recently diagnosed celiac and this is the only restaurant that I have been able to enjoy without getting sick. I have had the Fish and Chips, the Bangers and Mash and the Chicken Strips. It tasted amazing and I had no symptoms whatsoever!

A go to stop whenever I’m in the Dallas area. Food is always fantastic, staff is very knowledgeable about GF, almost entire menu is gluten free AND a few beers are gluten free as well! It’s so nice to enjoy a meal and be able enjoy a beer with it. Makes me feel “normal” again pre celiac diagnosis

Fantastic onion rings! They use Bob’s Redmill 1:1 flour in their recipes. Even had a clear list of all soy free items. Highly recommend.

We got stranded in Dallas on an overnight layover and came across this place on the gluten-free app. We can’t say enough good about this place. The food was magnificent so many decadent gluten-free items we were in hog heaven. Because my wife has celiac disease, we are limited on where we can go out to dinner, and this place definitely made the top of our list The service was also outstanding!

This was SO YUMMY and our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. We visited at lunch and tried the Scotch eggs and the Brussels sprouts appetizers. They sat on enough decorative greenery that I also basically had a salad. I ordered fish and chips and also a bun just to try it. The bun (“Local Oven”) was as good as my favorite Schlotskys (Udi’s) bun. All very tasty even if you weren’t caring about being GF. The 3 of us enjoyed one order of the Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding- the closest thing to French toast I’ve had since my diagnosis. Loved the English decor. Heading to London this year but I’ll bet this was all better than anything I’ll find over there! Support this restaurant!

Ate here 6 times while in Texas for 1 week; didn’t get glutened once. Amazing greasy food which is not common for celiacs! I literally teared up when I ate the Triple B Burger.

Gluten free fried onion rings. Yes please! I love coming here, it feels like Cheers where everyone knows you. We come here regularly and never been sick. The fish and chips are always a hit, my daughter loves the beef and ale stew and my husband is a huge fan of the Welsh rarebit. We have brought many friends here and loved it. The new owners are doing a great job revamping the patio and making it larger. So glad they are keeping with the theme and making sure it stays gluten free.

The fish from the fish’n’chips was absolutely delicious. The chips were a bit undercooked as were the onion rings. However all in all, yummy.

Two issues: 1. Careful telling them you are going to split an entree. They will give you 1-1/2 times the food across 2 plates. We eat very little and left one plate was untouched.

2. This is just me, but I am hypoglycemic from dumping syndrome. 45 minutes after eating, my blood sugar went to 50 then bounced as I treated with sugar tabs. I have the same reaction to some GF pancake mixes and breakfast cereals, so there is something in their flour mix that triggered me. This is a very rare issue but if you have the same reaction pancake mixes and cereals, just keep this in mind.

I am very sensitive to gluten and having celiac disease makes eating out a pain. This place is GREAT!!! I live over 60 miles away from here and will be coming back frequently! It so nice to go some place to eat that is safe and the food is awesome! Eating here is like the days before I was diagnosed with celiac! Love that all staff at From Across The Pond is knowledgeable about gluten free. The owner has experience with celiac and gets the issues. Since our celiac also reacts to corn, the owner is always wonderful and willing to leave out the cornstarch in the batter for the fish (and chips).

Gluten free items are clearly marked, and this is the only restaurant I know of where there are more GF than non-GF items.

It is such a treat to be able to order dinner and dessert safely! We have been there too many times to count and NEVER had a problem.

Extremely happy about finding this gem! We are strictly GF and had no issues eating here. Menu easily marked and nearly everything was already GF. From the traditional scotch eggs with mustard to the banger balls and bread pudding. Spot on guys!! And the decor and playlist only added to the vibe and ambience. Will definitely visit again.

Celiac Friendly, yummy and delicious. Gluten free beer battered Fish 'n' Chips, mushy peas, Shepherd's Pie, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Scotch , Bacon and Brussel sprouts salad...Staff are very knowledgeable. Our celiac family of 6 have eaten here several times and never been contaminated. I've been told the owner is celiac. Great place for some good ol' British gluten free grub. 😘🇬🇧💪😍🙏💞😋

Can’t rave enough about this place!! Gluten free fish and chips to die for! So delicious! Everything is gluten free, the entire menu! Gluten free cheesecake was amazing. The owner and his son both have Celiac so they are knowledgeable about everything. I highly recommend!
