Nothing on the menu is labeled gluten free. Though there are items that are made without gluten, it’s a cross-contamination nightmare because they make flour tortillas in house and flour is flying around everywhere and they don’t take any precautions to prevent cross contamination. I would not recommend to anyone with celiac disease.

No dedicated kitchen space, but staff was very careful, asked questions and verified ingredients for me. Haven’t gotten sick in the several times I’ve been here. Good food, good people, Route 66 diner charm, awesome art collection.
the frontier is a total institution in Albuquerque. It's a diner, with counter ordering and pickup. They do make a lot of stuff with flour here, like their cinnamon rolls and tortillas. My mother and I have eaten here multiple times with no problems, though. None of their sauces are thickened with flour, and they are happy to substitute perfectly safe corn tortillas for any flour tortillas. Staff was well-informed and helpful.
