A new favorite whenever we are in Cincinnati! We ordered delivery, after seeing the previous reviews. It was so nice to find GF fried chicken. My husband and I agree, the best fried chicken we have had in the 14 years we have been GF! Their fried pickles and loaded fries were so good and their signature dipping sauce is amazing!😋
This place is fantastic! This was worth the drive. Service was great and my chicken tenders were delicious. I also had fried pickles and slaw oh and French fries. I had the Ranch and Galactic sauces. I felt stuffed because the tenders were very generous in size. But NO sickness!
Fabulous gluten free FRIED chicken! Need I say more? Everything on the menu is GF except the sandwich, wrap & Texas toast. The employees are some of the friendliest people ever and they even deliver your food and drink to your table, check on you while eating & take your trays away when done. For a tiny hole in the wall restaurant that is unheard of! Hubby & I had a blast playing Battleship while waiting for our food to arrive. My non GF hubby loved his food as well! Will definitely be suggesting this place to all my GF friends & family!
This place is one of those great, hole in the wall places that I thought I couldn’t eat at anymore. Those diamonds in the rough! The fried chicken is gluten and dairy free and ah-mazing! I couldn’t believe that everything on the menu was gluten free except the Texas Toast but the average joe on the street wouldn’t know it was all gluten free! Nothing with gluten is ever in the fryer. My husband and I ordered the chicken tenders, 3 piece dark meat plate, 2 piece white meat plate, and fries. All of the sauces are gluten free. All sauces except the ranch are dairy free. Just don’t use the malt vinegar that’s on the table. You want to stop to eat here!
The best fried chicken I’ve had in years! Almost everything on the menu is completely gluten free. They offer regular buns and wraps which are not gluten free; however, they prepare these item is a separate space. As a celiac, I felt 100% safe eating here. I will most certainly be visiting again!
Almost all gluten free and they're very careful about cross contamination with the things that aren't. If you like fried chicken this is worth the drive if you're anywhere in the Cincinnati area.
This is one of my favorites in the Cincinnati area. The food is incredible and the employees are great! Everything is gluten-free except the bread. While they just have a basic crinkle cut fry, they are always really flavorful.
Since diagnosed, my #1 GF fried chicken was in Atlanta, GA but this restaurant without a doubt took the top spot! Could not recommend this place more, I would go back again in a heartbeat! Ordered one of their mixed chicken options and an order of the classic tenders. Even thought they aren’t a dedicated restaurant, their website made me feel so secure that I had zero celiac anxiety sitting down to eat (as I do with many non-dedicated establishments). The owners do things right!
I stopped in two days ago to satisfy my craving for fried chicken. I was not disappointed. The chicken tenders were crispy, seasoned but could have used more salt. The spicy dipping sauce was delicious and not too spicey. The loaded fries were a lot, very flavorful, but I needed help finishing them. Will definitely stop in next time I’m in town.
I love that they focus on gluten free. Very extremely salty! 😞 I ordered a breast and wing and fries. Seemed like the oil needed to be filtered. I like a the cut of the fries, but oily. Chicken was alright, salt ruined it. The slaw tasted spoiled. It could of been the seasoning or that my taste buds were burned by the salt. But the tenders that others had looked much better. I will try them again. I will order the tenders and ask for NO salt. And hope for fresh oil. Give them a try, support a GF business. All is GF except bread, and wraps. Very nicely priced!!
Extremely salty. Wish it was a more friendly atmosphere. S.W Clybourne has amazing chicken tenders but Galactic is decent for the price point. I just expected to be amazed with all the reviews, but we all like different things. Am always appreciative to businesses that accommodates GF people.
This was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had - GF or not! I’m weird about chicken, sometimes I like it, sometimes it creeps me out. I came here because I was traveling, and was sooooo surprised. The spice blend was great, the brine made the chicken soooo juicy and delicious. I’ll be dreaming about it for a while! Super safe. Did not get sick. Almost the entire menu is GF (including the fryers) and their website FAQ says that the owners mom has celiac disease, so they definitely understand CC safety and do their best. I will def come back anytime I’m in Cinci!
Really cute place with awesome food! The owners are amazing and take celiac seriously. Finally a place to get good fried food!
This place is so damn good. I have admittedly waited too long to review this place. I've had food here multiple times, and crave it more than I have the time to go and get it.
Dedicated fryer, you can have all the deep fried goodies. The only things not GF are the pasta and bread.
This place is so unique in all the best ways. Most gluten free places are overpriced, this is just a down to earth reasonably priced place. Their entire vibe is like "yes we are inclusive on multiple levels (LGBTQ+, dog-friendly, allergen accomodating) isn't everyone?" This is the best way I can describe the ambiance of the space, it's almost a so-what yes, were inclusive but why wouldn't we be.
When the owner is working she will bring my dog pieces of fried chicken, needless to say he also loves this place.
This is my absolute favorite GF kitchen in the NKY/Cincinnati area. The chicken and fries are so good and the atmosphere is perfectly unique. They also serve Ale8 and as a KY girl that is a big plus. The portions are huge! I order a 3 piece meal and always have to get a to-go box.
What a fun experience. Kind of a well worn establishment and on the small size. Very friendly staff who explained all of the menu items (there’s only chicken and the preparations). The chicken tenders are huge and generously coated in batter. All portions are generous. Fried pickles have a different batter, tasty but have a kick which I usually don’t love, but I kept on eating. The fries are a frozen krinkle cut variety, but were delicious. We also got a bone in breast and wing. These too were on the large size with a generous coating which is what you want when eating fried chicken. A 3 piece tender dinner with fries would have been enough for both of us, but we were experiencing the menu. We had a refrigerator in our hotel room so we were able to have the leftovers on the road for lunch the next day. We always travel with a cooler. I must say the chicken was even good cold. Highly recommend and might even return next week on our way back home from the Smoky Mountains.
AMAZING chicken tenders and fried pickles! They are so crispy and seasoned. Also love the galactic sauce! No ill feeling afterwards. Was traveling to Tennessee from Michigan, I’m always on the lookout to try new gluten free spots when in out on the road and stumbled across this place online. Stopped in, our cashier/server was so nice and conversational. The restaurant is super unique decor and vibe which I love, hope they keep it up!
Avoid the wrap and bread - everything else is GF! Great fried chicken and fries. The tenders are huge so 8 tenders and fries was about enough for our family of 4 (our kids are 6 and 1). Nice to eat somewhere where almost everything is GF. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.
