There was a good selection of gluten free dishes, including appetizers, mains and sides. The atmosphere was great and there was live music on the patio. Service was acceptable. Unfortunately the food did not meet expectations. To start I had a nicely done Sazerac cocktail followed by a crabmeat Maison (the crabmeat was replaced by crawfish tails). It was good but could have used a bit more spice. My entree was a delicious filet with Bernaise sauce, well cooked and very tender. The sides were unacceptable, making what could have been a very nice meal overpriced. Having been to Galatoire’s in New Orleans, I had high expectations for this bistro and was disappointed.
Went for Sunday lunch. Hostess had a hand -marked menu showing gluten free items. Many choices. Had the shrimp and grits. Also grilled mahi over stewed okra and tomatoes. All delicious. GF dessert was caramel flan-not so great.
