Got the funghi pasta with substituted gluten free pasta - amazing! I clarified with the waitress multiple times to make sure the pasta was completely separate and that the sauces didn’t contain flour - she handled everything great and wrote down my allergy to give to the kitchen. I don’t think it would have been handled the same if I was not so pressing about everything! Celiacs - ask all the questions and tell them to tell the kitchen and you will be fine!
We have gluten-free and dairy-free when we dine out so it can be tricky. There is gluten-free pasta here and the wait staff is obviously trained on how to handle it, what questions to ask, not shy about checking with the kitchen when needed, and attentive. The atmosphere is nice and selections on the menu varied enough that I can't wait to go back and try something else. In other words, definitely not stuck ordering only salad every time!
