The best gluten free pizza crust, period. Very nice place with indoor/outdoor seating. The pizza was amazing. I asked them several times if the crust was gluten free, because it just tasted too good. No reaction. We will definitely be back.
Went back a second time and the pizza was still great and no reaction. Amazing crust. Funny, I reread my original review because I asked them the same question again. They do charge extra for the GF crust, but it is worth it.
When I called, I spoke to the general manager, who said they do NOT use separate ingredients from a separate line - so you are getting the same sauce that is spread on a gluten pizza then spread on your gluten-free pizza. They do change gloves and change utensils but some of us select disease Will probably have a reaction here since they use shared ingredients between gluten and gluten-free pizzas
Incredible pizza. Also incredibly expensive. I asked the server what the gf dough was made out of and he just said “rice flour.” It’s gotta be more than that, as the crust was perfectly spongy and soft without being too chewy or hard (like most gf crusts). Probably the best gf pizza I’ve ever had. And there’s a wide variety of lots of rare/gourmet toppings (you can get gf crust on any of them). But the bill was $130 for 2 pizzas, 1 salad, 1 glass wine, selzer & tip. Yikes.
The food and service was excellent. The wait staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and assured me that they cleaned the oven prior to preparing my gf pizza. A bit pricey and the wait for my pizza was a bit longer, but understandably so due to them having to prep and clean the oven in between. My non-celiac family enjoyed their regular menu items as well.
Amazing spot! They offer GF pizza and pasta. I asked about the pizza beforehand because they had a wood burning oven - the server informed me that they clean the oven before a GF pizza is put down, to make sure there is no cross contamination. The pizza was huge, delicious, filling, etc (pizza Biancalanca). Unfortunately I didn’t inquire about GF pasta. Very nice ambience and beautiful space.
This was the best gf pizza I have ever had! The server was familiar with safety precautions for celiac. They cooked my pizza on a tray to avoid cross contact. It was slow and they agreed to cook it without gluten pizza in the pizza oven. I become symptomatic if exposed to gluten and I was completely symptom free afterwards!
**EDIT: pizza is amazing; however, GF pizza is an additional $10, making my margarita pizza $33–pizza was amazing, but was shocked because GF pricing was not notated on the menu.**
Amazing!! Staff was well-knowledged, took celiac very seriously, informed me that they in fact take gluten allergies very seriously. Pizza tastes AMAZING, looked so similar to my friend’s regular pizza. They even tasted a piece of mine and said they didn’t notice a difference. Will be back!! FYI: no GF marked on menu—but they can in fact make ANY pizza GF! :)
Amazing gluten free pizza crusts! Reminds of the pizza I got when I was in Florence. There is no gluten free menu, but they can make all their pizzas gluten free! I believe the gf pizzas share an oven with the normal pizzas but mine came out on a separate plate. I have celiac and am sensitive to cross contamination but I felt completely fine! The atmosphere is a little clubby and loud for a pizza place, but the food is delicious.
The pizza was as good as the pizza I got in Naples, Italy! You can tell it is made fresh and not just an Udi’s crust from the restaurant depot. Only issue was that it is a $10 up charge and it isn’t advertised on the menu. Not sure if they had gluten free pasta too but the pizza is one of the best I’ve had.
Fantastic GF pizza! Neopolitan-style is delicious and I've missed it. Gallucci delivered! My husband and I split two pizzas and we were stuffed, with leftovers. A little on the pricey side especially bc GF is an upcharge, but worth the splurge for date night. Sauce is tasty and crust is chewy and doughy like regular pizza!
