I’m Celiac and dairy intolerant. I spoke to the manager, who assured us that they could safely make me a meal. The made me a grilled pork chop with olive oil, steamed broccoli, and rice. It seemed promising, but I got quite sick.
NOT CELIAC FREINDLY. went for lunch on 12/26/22, only TWO menu options that are gluten free (cobb salad and fish tacos). no gluten free bread, buns, or alternatives. nothing on the menu is marked GF, & server put wafer cookies in my peppermint milkshake after i told him i have celiac/he checked on a few entrees to see if could be made GF (they couldn’t be). menu is overall pretty boring and food is mediocre. too much hype for this place.
Super helpful staff who asked and answered questions and checked and doubled checked our orders. Had the prime rib and the roasted chicken - with the white wine rosemary sauce because the chef said it was made with gf corn starch. Mashed potatoes and asparagus with the beef and mashed potatoes and broccolini with the chicken. Right on the lake with its own dock.
Had the fish tacos. They were pretty good. Was told was really only thing on menu truly gluten free. Offered me peppermint shake or vanilla ice cream. Server seemed knowledgeable and helpful just not many choices.
Food was good, did not get sick but our waitress was rude and was not attentive at all. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for drinks. For how expensive it was, you'd think they would be nicer about food restrictions and not make you feel like a problem. I asked her if she could check something with the chef and she gave attitude that the kitchen will close soon.
Spoke with one of the managers ,Chris. He called himself the “allergy expert”. He assured me they knew all about GF -even said salads are prepared in a separate area because of cross contamination from croutons. I had the fish tacos which were excellent. Beautiful place to eat too.
