I ordered a gf salad that arrived full of croutons, then explained again that i must not have any gluten (which is why im asking specifically for gf options) and then my chicken carbonara that said on menu and confirmed by server was gf, there was wheat fettuccine mixed in with the gf penne pasta and i didn’t know until it was too late
This was the best gluten free Italian! I got the Chicken Alfredo with GF pasta and it was so good. The prices are step but we had enough food for 2 with one meal so keep that in mind. Would def go back!
Visited Garozzo's Ristorante Kansas City for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Our server, Loni, was very knowledgeable about GF and took great care of us. I had in mind what I wanted but couldn't find the exact combination on their menu. She took my custom order and man, did they deliver! GF penne with alfredo, prosciutto, mushrooms and peas. Soooo good! I had dinner and took home enough for two lunches. And their house Chianti was excellent!

We ate at the Garozzo's in Overland Park last night. I am celiac. I ordered the spiedini GLUTEN FREE and broccoli for my side. I found 3 full pieces of angel hair pasta (NOT GLUTEN FREE) at the bottom of my bowl of broccoli. Too late. I was soooo sick last night and am still feeling its effects 24 hours later. How disappointing to go out for a nice dinner that I thought would be safe for me. Won't make that mistake again!
Excellent - regularly order carry out here. Always ask that they cook the pasta in clean water to avoid cross contamination for celiac (not gluten preference). They are always willing to accommodate and I have always had a fantastic experience. So nice to be able to enjoy AMAZING pasta dishes!!!
Our food was excellent. Talked to them in advance and they recommended we tell the server that I have Celiac. Server confirmed all food was gf when served. No reactions. We will definitely go back. Look online for the gluten free menu but in the restaurant the menu is clearly marked.
I have been to Garozzo’s many times since being diagnosed with Celiac with no issues. They have a great, extensive gluten free menu and the food is delicious.
Gluten free chicken breast spiedini style with capers and lemon, and gluten free pasta amazing! Wish they had a gluten free bread option.
I ordered the GF Spedini Samantha and tested it with Nima. It came back Gluten Found, I spoke with the manager and they made another one, Nima also found gluten in the second one. The manager handled it well and expressed concern to figure out what the source of gluten was. I don’t think I’ll be back, disappointing bc I know the food is sooo good from before I was Celiac
