Great options for gluten free and vegetarian options
Used to love this place. Very limited options for gluten free. Felt really sick afterwards
The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about celiacs and gluten free. There were a few things she did that as a celiac diner I was very impressed with. She pointed out the selection of "shared plates" that were cross contaminated without my asking- showing she had a greater understanding of celiacs. The substitutes used for the toastines with the steak tartare was good and something to note. But I think most impressively when the waitress set down my plate she made sure I understood the breading on the fish was not flour- it was corn meal and completely gluten free. Additionally, two of their three desserts were gluten freee and very delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal or date night spot.
Yes
When I sat down the waiter came and instantly asked if there were any allergies at the table. The service was great and food tasted amazing! I did however get really sick almost immediately after. FYI - they use soy oil for everything so if you have a soy allergy I'd definitely avoid them.
