Gelato Joy Cafe

Went here for the first time last night! They have a cafe that has gluten items but all of the gelato is completely gluten free! Every single flavor! I asked them to wash their hands before scooping my gelato. It was DELICIOUSSSSSS!!!!!

WOW!!! We stopped at this new gelato shop when we were walking through town and I am just so impressed!!! All of the flavors are gluten free, including the mint cookie flavor (she uses gluten free mint cookies)! The owner purposely makes them all gluten free so they don’t need to worry about cross contamination. And, above all, the gelato was DELICIOUS. It is so much healthier than ice cream but is just as tasty. She makes her gelato with 90% milk (and the milk is local)! It is all fully homemade! She is great with other allergies. Everything is egg free too, and for people with allergies such as peanuts, she will use a separate scooper and scoop it from a separate bin. Right now she only has cups, but there is talk of getting cones in the future. If she does this, she immediately told us that for people with celiac she would use a new scooper and scoop from an untouched section of the gelato bucket, or from a fresh batch. I am so impressed and definitely recommend it!
