I ordered cupcakes for my brother who is celiac and called ahead of time to check the kitchen procedures. They assured me all gluten free items are prepared separately and cooked in dedicated pans. They are cooked alone in the oven. They have a separate case in the display case too. They were confident they would be 100% safe.
In terms of taste we would give it 5 stars, but gave it less because the Shrewsbury site kept telling us the macarons were GF as opposed the the macaroons. These are often made from almond flour so we were excited. I can completely understand confusing the names, but not when I'm pointing to the cookie and asking "are you sure?". I even went so far as to say that the other site in West Boylston said they were not gluten free. They got on the phone and came back to us and said they were GF. My son was very sick. It was only in hindsight that we (the owner and I) realized the name switch error.
