Several reviews on here about cross contamination but as long as you specifically tell the staff (cook chicken on foil) and either (do not grill or cut pita or grill on foil and do not cut pita) then you’re totally fine! They also honor my requests and I have always had great luck.
My favorites are chicken kabobs, salad, dressing and cucumber sauce, GF pita bread, steak and cheese on GF pita. They have more GF options but these are my go tos
I went here about a month ago...they have gluten free pita bread but cut it with the same as they cut the other pita bread and when I asked them to re do it they threw a huge attitude. The manager is very rude and terrible at customer service. NOT Celtic friendly at all.
I really like this place! I hate that I live an hour away, because I'd probably eat here quite often. There's very few "cheap and fast" food options when you have Celiac, but this is a great option!
You can order any sub on a gluten free pita, but beware that their steak is not gluten free. I stuck with tuna salad and it was delicious! The sandwich was much bigger than I expected, and they won't charge you extra to use a gluten free pita. The pita is so good, you won't even know it's GF. They don't list chips on their menu, but they do have plain Utz chips to go along with your sandwich. They don't have much to offer as far as GF sides go. They do have a GF dessert that I didn't get a chance to try.
The rest of my family isn't GF. My husband had a steak and cheese sub with fries, my oldest son had dinosaur shaped nuggets and fries, and my youngest son had their orzo pasta salad. They all seemed to really like the food. I also got a steak and cheese pita to go for my mother-in-law, and it was still hot when we got home (they wrapped it in foil).
The staff is also really nice and friendly. I will be back!
Fantastic local restaurant with a variety of items they make fresh.
