Good and bad. Food seemed perfectly cooked though sides seemed a bit cool (guessing are reheated). The gluten free waffle half (aka 'mini') was crispy and light. I like the dipping syrup method. Didn't appreciate the lack of parking, crash inducing one way spaces and tiny space for 2 way car traffic, confusing directions for additional parking (look west for Key Bank even if facing east), unlisted extra charge for the gluten free waffle with my eggs, and half the wait staff felt listless and slow. Menu had 4-5 gluten free items flagged, but apparently more can be GF with modifications. Wish they had a menu with that spelled out instead of needing me to wait for and bug the wait staff item by item. And just my preference the coffee was way too bitter, but I'm sure some people prefer that to my preference of roasty and/or bright/acidic. Oh and "tipless" is code for "automatic 20% tip on top of listed prices". I get the idea but it still feels like they're lying with the menu prices, and bad service still gets rewarded.
Great menu options, good food, knowledgeable staff. Many of the things on the menu not listed as GF can be made GF by subbing the toast out with a mini GF waffle. I buy dinner waffles for my daughter with Celiac and she loves them. Her favorite is the chicken and waffles. And as an added bonus you can buy their GF waffle mix for at home! Johnny
