Cute and very cultural place to eat! I felt like I was in Italy. The food was amazing and best pizza I’ve ever had GF. The Caesar salad with GF croutons was a first for me and so yummy, not to mention the yummy Italian pastry dessert. I’m coming again next time I’m in town. GF has its own kitchen!! Our Lucas was so friendly and the chef comes around to every table greeting people. The culture here is fantastic!
Amazing! This is the 3rd time we have visited. This time with our daughter-in- law who has Celiac. The food is outstanding and their attention to truly gluten free is wonderful. The service also is above and beyond!
The sandwiches are not marked gluten free anywhere on the menu but if you request it they can make it for you!
If you are looking for gluten free pizza with a soft and fluffy crust, this is your place. If you have a chance to dine here, do it- they have tons of gluten free options that are hard to find anywhere else and they are all delicious. And in their new location, they have a dedicated gluten free station. While the menu prices are a little expensive, this is definitely a must try.
New location with dedicated prep area! Cannot recommend enough! The best gf pizza, pasta and bread I’ve ever had. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Celiac-safe. Great desserts, specifically the lava cake. We bought a loaf of the bread to go - definitely a must-try! Nice outdoor dining area as well.
Chef and staff are so friendly.
Amazing freshly made gluten free bread was brought to us upon arriving once they knew about the allergy.
I had a delicious freshly made dinner including lentil soup and gluten free gnocchi.
The chef totally understands safe gluten free as his wife has celiac.
He has separate everything for gluten free.
Several desserts are safe for gluten free. Tiramisu was so good!
My server brought me a glass of champagne at the end of my meal.
Great dinner!
GO HERE!! This place is AMAZING. the chef is the sweetest man. So many GF options and they have an entire gluten free station separate from their regular kitchen where you can watch him make your food. Calzones weren’t on the menu but I asked if it was possible and he made me one on the spot!!! They even have to-go boxes specially labeled gluten free and normal. And all desserts are gluten free! It’s amazing
This place is a celiacs dream! They initially asked if anyone had allergies which I really appreciated. All the food was amazing and the options for gluten free were so inclusive. I had a gluten free beer, calamari, pasta bolognese and had to try two desserts: the tiramisu and pasticciotto. On top of great food, the service was also awesome! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really spoke to my midwestern heart. Our main waitress was Loredana and she was so sweet. What a great little place we got to enjoy on our stop in Ft Lauderdale.
AMAZING! We both got a GF calzone and they are big enough to make two meals out of each one. My husband ordered his with vegan cheese. We had the lava cake for dessert and it was excellent, as well!
They have GF beer, fried calamari and bread. A definite must try if you’re in the area!
I had such a great experience here. They had a lot of gluten free options on the menu, and were great about preventing cross-contamination. We got the GF bruschetta for our appetizer, and I got the GF gnocchi for my main course. The gnocchi was delicious! We finished off with their GF tiramisu, which was also exquisite. The service was great too! We will be back!
The most delicious GF meal ever!!! This place was hard to find hidden in a plaza but worth it! They make the most delicious GF bread I have ever tasted! The pasta carbonara was fantastic & the chocolate lava cake was to die for! Don’t miss it!!! I am taking 3 loaves of bread home with me to MA!!! 😍😋🍝🍞🥖
It’s gets better and better each time I visit. New location. Amazing staff. Gluten free separate kitchen area. Vegan options too. Fantastic.
This place was amazing! We ate there after a late flight arrival before our cruise the next day. One in our group is celiac, I have a gluten allergy, neither of us got sick. This pizza was truly the only GF pizza we’ve both had that tasted like “normal” pizza. Our husbands are not GF and said it was probably the best pizza they’ve ever had GF or not. Crust was puffy, chewy, incredible, toppings were endless and delicious!! Would definitely recommend this place! Served was well educated, they also had GF beer.
I am a consistent customer at this restaurant. I was informed that they will be moving to a new location so their inventory for some items is low. What was really concerning was that they served me a gluten pizza and fortunately I asked before eating it. I’m also sad to report that I still had a gluten reaction typical of cross contamination… Not sure if it’s their afternoon staff or the move but I may reconsider your patronage.
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Staff were knowledgeable and went over all protocols in place which make for a very very very low risk of cross contact like I would say zero percent! They have a different prep area/utensils/toppings that are for GF only. Dont even get me started on the food WOW just wow, it was the best gluten free meal I’ve ever had out since my celiac diagnosis, you would never guess that the pizza I had was gluten free (even I kept questioning it). If you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area, I highly recommend you stop by!!!!
The food was delicious, the service was OK but everything gluten-free was a five dollar up charge, and I mean literally everything. They had a large number of pasta dishes that you could get gluten-free and they used freshwater. All pizzas could come gluten-free as well and were homemade crust. We were also able to grab some gluten-free gelato which was a nice treat.
Let me start by saying the staff were incredible. I appreciate that they had a decent amount of things you could get gluten free. 4 of us dined inside and got a variety of dishes. Sadly all four of us agreed that the taste just wasn’t great. Anything with red sauce was incredibly bland and tart/very acidic at the same time. The 4th persons lasagna came out almost 20 minutes after everyone else was finished eating. Had high hopes with all the 5 star ratings, but the food was super underwhelming. 😕
The gluten free bread was outstanding amd is made in house. We had gnocchi and the mushroom pizza both with vegan mozzarella and each was so delicious! Get the tiramisu, just do it! It is the real thing with dairy which I don't normally do and was just fantastic and silky and not too sweet. The staff truly cares about the food and our experience. They explained what ingredients were used to make the gf products ad well as non dairy cheese. I cannot wait to go back!
Went there for a date night, walked in. The overall service we found to be okay. The menu has a lot of GF options. I initially chose gnocchi, but turns out they didn’t have any. Then I chose a the creamy mushroom pasta which only had a few pasta options. I chose penne but got rotini. The food was delicious! But in that back and forth of my GF dish, the kitchen forgot about my husband’s gluten filled dish. It took me forever to flag down a waiter because we were tucked into a corner, hard to get their attention. Husband’s food came after I had finished sloopooooowly eating my food. I liked the tiramisu. It had the flavors I wanted. But there was more cream than the cake which was the best part. I will go back to try some more food. Oh! The bread was delicious and they heavily advertise gluten free options in venue. And have a wide selection of GF pizzas. Didn’t see any signs or menu options for dairy free / vegan.
I am so amazed at the variety of delicious gluten free options that are offered. From pasta, pizza, dessert, and complimentary gluten free bread. The bread part made me so happy as I haven’t seen that at any restaurant before. Staff are very knowledgeable on how to accommodate guests who must avoid gluten. Highly recommend supporting Gioia Eat!
We love it here. The owner knows all about celiac and the importance of cross contamination. The pizza dough is made in a separate area and the pizza is then baked in a separate wood burning oven. The result is fantastic and there are so many delicious toppings to choose from. The gf fried calamari is also delicious.
