I have celiacs- got the grilled chicken sandwich with no bun and a side of rice and peas. The server said the chef is very familiar with gluten free and it wouldn’t be a problem. The chicken sandwich came out on lettuce and was delicious! The rice was good too!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience today at Glady’s Cafe! I am celiac, onion free and garlic free. Debbie, the owner’s daughter, is phenomenal. She totally gets it. She has a friend that is celiac. She checked all ingredients and came out to show me the seasoning for their meat is certified gluten free. She wanted to prepare me a tasty safe not bland meal. She succeed! I had the grilled chicken sandwich without the bread, lettuce, tomato and Cole slaw. So good. I had no problems. I will be back next year!!

I have a gluten sensitivity and my family and I decided to give Gladys' Cafe a try while on vacation. They do not have a dedicated GF menu, however, are knowledgeable and were able to make several GF recommendations. I had their grilled Mahi Mahi along with peas and rice, plantains, yucca, and grilled vegetables. The food was well prepared, delicious, and best of all gluten free! The staff was friendly and welcoming. Frank Sinatra and other old standards were played in the background.
Although no GF menu, they were accommodating to my GF needs. I had a grouper entree with rice and veggies (all fresh and made to order). Very good! It is on a narrow side street but worth looking for!
