Best sushi experience I’ve had since my celiac diagnosis. They have a dedicated fryer and there was nothing on the menu I would have wanted that I couldn’t order, including tempura. The menu is clearly marked with items as GF or AGF (available GF), and there is a full GF section on the menu. Also, our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and was very clear about telling the kitchen about the celiac.

I LOVE Globefish's deliciously creative and deluxe-sized rolls! Absolute flavour town. Menu is clearly marked with GF or available GF, and also mentions the dedicated GF fryer (try the tempura!!). GF soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger are all available - be sure to ask for these specifically. Staff were knowledgable and always reassured GF status when bringing out my dishes. I had minor cramps after the meal (probably IBS) but no gluten reaction. Woohoo!

I decided to try Globefish based on the very good reviews of Gluten Free. I don't care for fish, so just got a much of vegetables style rolls. Got excited and ordered way too much. Saved a bunch to the next day.

First night, no issues and my excitement doubled down. Second night, finished my food and definitely had gluten symptoms.

I can't seem to find where I vote for celiac friendly or not, but I would not consider this celiac friendly.

Can only assume that despite their separate cutting boards and fryer, something slipped through.

The food is excellent and so is the service. They are very careful serving their gluten free customers. I have Celiac disease.

The most variety of gluten free sushi offerings (including tempuras) in Calgary. Their online menu is also very easy to use. The quality is hit and miss though. Sometimes the rolls have very little filling and thick amounts of rice. The tempuras are often greasy and get soggy very fast. Also on the most recent order they gave me regular soy sauce instead of gf soy sauce and I worry about their attention to detail.

Best Sushi in Calgary! The most fantastic part is that I can order anything off the menu! (for an upcharge you get real crab instead of the fake crab that does have Gluten)

My dreams came true, really really tasty sushi and gluten free. Our server was awesome and knowledgeable.

Amazing food! They even have gluten free tempura and chicken karaage! Extremely knowledgeable staff, a dedicated fryer, and a thoroughly labeled menu. They provide gluten free soy sauce and were even able to make the sushi burrito gluten free!
