NO LONGER HAVE A DEDICATED FRIER
Their ownership and menu has changed. Less options. Burger was a frozen patty.
Old review:
One of my favorite restaurants for sure! GF wings are crispy, the glory sauce is glorious, sweet potatoes fries are both soft and crunchy. Their GF bun is only $1 extra and very good. Large GF menu! I've never had an issue with getting glutenated.
NO LONGER SAFE! Glory Days USED to be amazing, having grilled wings, gluten free sauces, dedicated gluten free fryer. But none of that is true anymore. Risk of cross contamination is high, NO gluten free menu, options are VERY limited if you have any kind of allergies. Fries and everything are in a shared fryer, I would no longer feel safe eating here if you have any kind of gluten intolerance or allergy of any kind for that matter. Super disappointing because they used to be fantastic, even winning awards for being allergy friendly.
Edit- they changed the menu- fries no longer gluten free and are fried in shared fryer. Also tortilla chips (w/ nachos) aren’t GF. But the Buffalo dip comes with Fritos so that’s an option.
I definitely recommend! It has gotten so much better over the last few years. There is a GF menu, a dedicated fryer, and, knowledgeable friendly staff! I’ve eaten here several times in the last few months & never gotten sick.
i used to enjoyably eat at this chain until i experienced a few cross-contamination concerns. recently, i ordered online from the gluten free menu and my burger came with a traditional bun (containing gluten). their fries are not listed as a gluten free side anymore as well. this is extremely upsetting since this chain used to be a safe option.
I ate here while staying at an airport hotel. I ordered a cheeseburger, but opted for a side of rice instead of fries. They have a dedicated fryer, but since I had a long flight ahead of me the next day I opted to play it safe. My meal was very good, and the gluten free roll was definitely one of the best I’ve had. The server carried my meal out separately, so they appear to have good procedures in place. Positive experience.
I needed a quick bite after leaving the airport and heading to DC. This was on the app so I tried it and was not disappointed. Large GF menu, I had the cheese bacon burger and the GF bun with fries. It was tasty and hit the spot but any place that has a dedicated fryer and I don’t sick from get a 5 star review from me.
We had an excellent first experience at another Glory Days location so we decided to take some friends out for dinner a few nights later at the Cooper Creek location that was closer to us. It was a disaster! The food did not taste the same at all. Yes, they have gluten-free buns, but they serve them cold. The other location knew that they would taste better if they were buttered and grilled up a bit. They were out of Coke and would not make us the gluten-free tortillas for the buffalo dip because they said it would take 25 minutes! They served the two gluten-free people at the table and failed to bring the order the other couple made, and instead delivered it to the table next to us. Then, they seated a table of 10 and all of them got their food before the other two people at our table. We never saw a manager. Our server tried his best to deal with all of this… and us, but we never had a manager come over to see what the problem was or to offer an apology. We will NOT return to this location, no matter how good the food is.
