Found on the way north to Peneda-Geres National Park. So good we stopped again on our way back to Lisbon. EVERYTHING IS GF, including the beer. I've had a better hamburger bun, but it was a real treat nonetheless, to have a cheeseburger and not worry. Franchescina was amazing, huge tower of food. Tasty, but didn't entirely agree with me. My non-celiac travel companion had no issues, and mine were NOT like a celiac reaction.
The highpoint for me was the bread with 3 dips appetizer. Bread was perfect, warm, crusty, perfect crumb. Spread with the garlic butter, it was PERFECTION and a memory of the times before diagnosis. Olive spread was good, but not like the butter. #3, the hummus, was meh.
I bought 2 two-packs of those rolls to take on the road in each direction. They came in handy, but weren't essential as Portugal is a very easy country to travel GF in.

Great spot for lunch. Try the bola de berlim cream pastry. It's a hike from the river but worth it for gluten free everything.

One of the best burgers I've ever had. The bun was unreal. And the brownies are delicious.
