This is our favorite restaurant! They have a dedicated fryer!! Chips and queso are the best! I usually get the enchiladas, the mole sauce has wheat, so sub queso for the sauce. We have also had tacos and nachos without issues. My son and I both have celiac and have never gotten sick.

Their tortilla chips are fried in a dedicated fryer, so I was able to have an appetizer without worrying! I ordered the chicken tacos and subbed corn tortillas, and most of the sides are gf as well. My server was very knowledgeable and helped me decide what to order because the gf items are not marked on the menu.

I've been to three Gonza locations now and this one by far was the most knowledgable and thorough with their gluten precautions. When the weather is nice they open up the windows and you have a nice indoor/outdoor experience. The food is super tasty and I always look forward to future visits.

Gluten free chips in a dedicated fryer! The tacos can be made with corn tortillas
Honestly they were amazing. As soon as I mentioned I was celiac the waiter (Hannah was also just as amazing) told me the precautions they take, the gluten free chips available, and all the food on the menu that was safe or cold be made gluten free. I got the Pastor Tacos and they were scrumptious. They were so diligent about everything, can’t wait to go back!

I was very happy with my meal at Gonza. I ate Chilaquiles Verdes and it was delicious - very creamy, flavorful, and comforting. Our server seemed very knowledgeable about the GF options, which were plentiful. I will visit Gonza again when I’m in the Raleigh area.

When the weather is nice they open up the windows and you have a nice indoor/outdoor experience and you can see the plaza and water fountain. The food is super tasty and the staff is knowledgeable and takes allergy precautions seriously. I always look forward to future visits.

The food was great! I got the short rib corn tacos. I asked if I could eat the chips. She said not those, but she brought me my own and own salsa. I loved the food. Not very spicy and not much cilantro. Very flavorful and o loved it.

Chips are made first in the fryers once a week when they change the oil. I ate them with salsa and queso with no problems.
Ordered the special of the day, something mahi mahi, coconut rice, and a veggie sauce. It was really good. My only complaint is the sauce was a bit heavy for the rest of the dish.
Server was super patient and knowledgeable about gluten friendly practices.

Our waitress knew they could do gluten free but did not know what was in most of the drinks or dishes. She would say something was gf and then change her mind several times. Luckily she offered to go and ask the chef but it didn't leave you feeling the most assured. The food was decent/good but I'm guessing there are far more authentic taco and tequila bars around.
