While on a 3 day trip to NH with my sister, we stopped for early dinner at Gordi's before heading back home. The Staff was knowledgeable about Gluten and food sensitivities/allergies. They have a separate GF menu. They do not have a dedicated GF Fryer. My sister had a large Greek salad with grilled chicken *she has no food issues), she said it was OK. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a GF bun with a side house salad and a baked potato. They meal was all ok. Safe for me, which was great, but, the food was just boring.
Service was good, the gf menu was pretty big. They seemed knowledgeable, but my husband filet came out on a piece of garlic bread. They recooked it. His lobster was over cooked. My son loved his filet. I felt my chicken dish had no flavor. No one got sick, so I guess that’s a plus. Could have been a great meal. Not many places to choose from.
It’s so hard to find a local restaurant that you can trust when your celiac. We order from Gordi’s all the time and tell them it’s celiac/gluten allergy, I’ve never gotten sick after eating there . They seem to really care about celiac and go out of their way to help. I get the ribeye or the prime rib :) yum!
The clam chowder alone made my visit worth it! I had salmon with garlic mashed potatoes as my main dish. My server was knowledgeable about what I could have. They provided me with a gluten free guide to use with the regular menu.
OMG. I was so impressed with this restaurant. I had gluten free clam chowder….. extra yummy. They had a gf menu. Salad with grilled shrimp…..yummy. And several dessert choices. I had white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. The person who made it has celiac disease and sends baked goods to this restaurant. Great decor. Many gf option. Check out the gf menu online.
Went there tonight, before we made reservations I asked about GF and they said they could accommodate. The only GF bread option was a Hamburg roll, and they don’t have a gluten free menu, they have gluten free options. They have options .but it is clearly stated that there is cross contamination . So celiac beware. I was disappointed.
