Grains of Wrath (GOW) Brewery & Restaurant

This is the third time I’ve tried eating here. I was surprised that they didn’t have any gluten-free beer yet. They’re on the gluten-free restaurant list. The second time I ate here I had a salad and I ended up being well . This last time I had a taco salad which was represented as gluten-free and got so sick .

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

We stopped in for dinner last night and I was a little apprehensive with how busy it was. Our server was really knowledgeable though and explained that they had a celiac flag in their ordering system, a celiac-specific process in the kitchen, the fryer is shared so nothing fried was safe including chips, etc. I felt comfortable with her recommendations so ordered the bahn mi burger with a salad and was not disappointed (or glutened!) The burger bun was tasty and held up well with the saucy burger and toppings, and the salad was super fresh and huge. No reactions last night/today so their orders seems to have been followed.

I’m very gluten sensitive and eat here regularly with zero issues. Highly recommend.

GOW has many GF options on their menu. I explained I am celiac and the kitchen took the proper precautions. Great food! Feeling great after getting a burger.

You have to order at the bar - person taking the order was very knowledgeable about cross contamination. They have a separate grill so you can get burgers, gf grilled cheese, etc. I got the grilled cheese (so good!)

Items that can be made GF noted in the menu. Had their pork belly lunch on crisp rice. pertty tasty but would be better with more of the scallions & greens. had steelhead appetizer with toasted GF bread. only had two cider options and one was a beer mix and the other a sweet cider. Not a fan of either, so I didn't order one.
