I went with a safe option and got a salad. this place is not Celiac friendly and the wait staff has minimal knowledge and doesn't seem interested in being knowledgeable either.
Please note I asked the kitchen and the Gluten Free pasta is cooked in the same water as the regular pasta. This voids the gluten free aspect at least for those of us with celiac.
Great Menu really strong Gluten free options noted all over the menu and the food was prepared with great care and flavor!the service was very consistent throughout our visit. first timers we will be back
I give only 3 states because they stated the do NOT have a gluten free bread for the appetizer, only a gluten free bun ...... so I was left to watch my family consume the delicious looking bread.......the menu was all mixed up so I had to scroll through to find something passing all other items, so no dedicated menu for us.....the bun f5or my burger was dry and this place has terrible customer service considering there was a hair in my mustard!
Bakes their own GF bread!! So soft and fluffy. Pretty good selection of options. It's nice getting to eat premeal/app bread like everyone else gets to. Nice and understanding staff.
They have marked a lot of options on their menu now as available gluten free. Many options available including dessert.
Our experience was okay, not great. They do have gluten free options, but we didn't get any of the fancy stuff others are mentioning as they are not on the menu and must have been specially prepared. Our server wasn't very knowledgeable and she didn't care. The food was decent, but not outstanding. You can find better gluten free options for the money.
Celiac safe! Server, Manager, and Chef collaborate before preparing food. Very extensive menu with tons of gf options. Fryer NOT dedicated. Pastrami Burger and Warm Chicken Salad are fabulous, so is chocolate cheesecake. Surprisingly affordable for Vegas. Server (Lauren!) very patient and understanding. Would go back in a heartbeat. Located in Venitian Hotel.
Visited the Palazzo location and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Server was knowledgeable. Regular menu has GF marked on it. The menu is very long and diverse. Had the GF pasta Telefono, which was a red sauce with cheese. They leave the breadcrumbs off if GF. Meal was good, nice texture and flavor. Pasta was slightly over over cooked. The creme brûlée is the only GF dessert offered. It's a large portion and pretty good.
A great place overall. The waiter was very knowledgeable about what is gluten free, but be careful what you order. The gf pasta is made in the same water as the regular pasta. The fries are also not safe. Lots of potential for cross contamination.
The waiter barely spoke English and didn't know what celiac was. She could not tell me what the substitution would be for my meal and it ended up being not what I wanted. Then she charged me for meat when I didn't have any. And didn't fill our water. The food made me sick but not from celiac.
This was such a wonderful dining experience. There should be a lot more restaurants like this around. I am gf/df and they had lots of options for me to choose from, and a lot of them were outside the normal gf/df menu. They had gf buns and all the food is cooked fresh or made fresh on sight. I hope to go back before returning home.
Knowledgeable staff, friendly, big portions. I got the Grand Cobb Salad expecting in to not quite fill me. It ended up being a full supper that night and brunch the next morning. There are communal breadbowls on the table so pop your cutlery on your lap before the breadbowls are delivered if you want to prevent crumbs on your napkin/cutlery. I'm a very sensitive celiac and had no reactions here.
Ate dinner twice at this restaurant during our stay. Our waiter was very knowledgeable regarding GF items. Both times my daughter and I ate GF pasta dishes and had no problems. The food was delicious and my non-celiac husband even swiped some of my pasta for his own enjoyment. FYI: We ate at the Grand Lux in the Palazzo. The Palazzo and the Venetian are connected properties, and there is a Grand Lux in both locations. I noted that most complaints seem to be about the Venetian location. Just take a short stroll through the Grand Canal and enjoy a meal with confidence.
The food was ok, there are gluten free items marked on the menu. The service was terrible. It is inside the Venetian, so it was a little pricey. They did not have a weekend brunch on a Saturday. Breakfast ended at 11 but they did have a few breakfast items available.
Or may be celiac friendly... But after waiting 25 min for a salad to go- asking after 20 minutes to please check on my order and then I get to my room and it has ingredients that were not listed on the salad I ordered, I was so hungry I ate it - but I won't be back.
loved this place had a lot of gluten free options, the menu is marked gluten free, our waitress was very helpful, and friendly, would recommend to go here not over priced. We had the gluten free burger, comes with a gluten free bun, which was sooo nice and french fries that were cooked in a different fryer to non gluten free.
I don't know what to say...or how to start. I got Pasta Carbonara-Imported Spaghettini Tossed with Smoked Bacon, Peas, a Touch of Garlic and a Parmesan Cream Sauce. It was delicious and I was enjoying it soooo much. Then while I was almost done I found a regular noodle mixed in! I really like it so I guess make your own decision whether to come or not
They're usually crowded and service can be slow, but Grand Lux is very good at handling gluten free needs safely. There is a huge selection of delicious options, and they even have a gf Godiva chocolate cheesecake dessert (which is to die for)!
Atmosphere great! Servers well trained on allergy issues. Helpful checked about possibility of wheat in Turkey Burger. GF french fries are amazing. Rolls for sandwich/burgers are soft NOT crumbly and delicious. I have had great experiences on several occasions.
Found a regular noodle in my GF pasta. Got very ill. Restaurant says they have no idea how it happened and made me a new entree, which I took to go and have no intention of eating. They really should have just not charged me, but instead, I get to be sick while on a business trip. Manager claims they're careful, but if they were, there wouldn't be wheat-full linguini in my corkscrew GF pasta dish! Highly NOT recommended for celiacs or very sensitive intolerants!!
