These people not only ask if you have an allergy but they have celiac stickers for your food. Gluten free fryer. Great food.

Gluten free bun substitute option for any burger as well as a few other things on the menu which are labeled gluten free. They asked if it was an allergy or a preference, and then my burger came out labeled “gluten free, celiac”. The bun was pretty good, and didn’t fall apart in my hands which is always a plus. Fries were really good.

I had the vegan black bean burger bowl. It was tasty and reportedly both gluten free and vegan. Staff reported the fryer is for the fries only and are gluten free. I did not get sick after my meal and would eat here again. They offer gluten buns, for burgers as well.

The hamburger was great and staffs were pretty knowledgeable about celiac. I didn’t have any reaction after eating there. Will go back next time in Durango!

So good! Wish this was in my area because it’s the best “fast food” burger place I’ve had. Got the cheddar burger on gluten free bun and French fries. Wish I was a soda drinker to try the local soda.

I ordered a mushroom swiss burger. They have Canon bakehouse buns. There fryer is dedicated so I was thrilled to have a great burger and fries. The guy that took my order was very attentive to my questions. I would highly recommend this place!

The food tasted great, the prices were reasonable, and I didn't get sick!
The very nice young lady who took our order helped me with the menu since I'm avoiding dairy and legumes as well as gluten at this time. When I mentioned I needed a gluten-free meal, she asked me if she should note GF on my order. She told me the workers change their gloves when they see the note. My food and fries came out separated on their own tray.
I went with a burger bowl on a base of lettuce. It was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet potato fries as well as the french fries. My entire family enjoyed their dinners.

My daughter and I are both symptomatic celiac and we had no issues here. They were aware of gluten free. Fries are celiac safe. Food was delicious! We loved the sweet potato fries. They delivered our fries on the tray with the gluten burger and they noticed it and brought us all new fries.

Laid back atmosphere, good food. The staff was super aware of celiac precautions. GF bun was a bit dry, but overall good food. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with sweet fries (sweet potato fries). My boys had GF Bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. We would definitely eat here again!

GF Burger and Fries in a dedicated fryer. What more could you possibly want. Droves of cyclists riding around outside after playing bicycle polo down the street. This place will make you want to quit the city life and move to a quiet mountain town. I ordered 4 baskets of fries because I’m a savage.

This is a fast food burger establishment, you seat yourself and bus your own table. The restaurant has a relax open fill to it and the have a small area for young children to play.
We have the gutters though they other bunless bowls. The gluten free bun was great and the fries are only thing they have that is fried so fries have a low cross contamination risk.

The food came out quickly. They do offer a GF bun but were sold out of the buns when we ate here. So I had a burger lettuce wrap, which was still great. The fries are not fried with any gluten items, so I could eat fries! I am very sensitive to cross contamination and no issues here!

1st let me say I have eaten here in the past and food was good, but now I am very disappointed. No gluten free buns, offered to make it a lettuce wrap instead. 2 pieces of lettuce, I top, 1 bottom, not what I was expecting for a wrap. No utensils so had to try to eat it like a burger. Sloppy mess. Fries weren’t the best, cold and soggy. My wife wanted a simple milkshake, no luck, they were out of mix. Hopefully you have better luck.

I have been here 3 times now, strictly because there are no other options when I pass through Durango. I’ve never enjoyed the food but this last time was the worst and more than consistent with my other experiences. The fries are soggy and undercooked, the staff has an awful attitude and the burgers taste bad and are over cooked. I got a “lettuce wrap” and it was just a piece of lettuce on top…with the rest of the “burger” and toppings just stuck to the paper. Waste of money, had gas and heartburn for hours.

So damn good! Best burger I’ve ever had! The gf bun is bomb! We went two days in a row. First day we shared a gf mushroom Swiss with bacon and sp fries with allll of the sauce options. NOT A MISTAKE! Second day, we got our own burgers. He regretted not getting the gf bun because apparently it was better the the potato bun and I regretted nothing!!

My burger with GF bun and fries were AMAZING. Had some diarrhea after but nothing like when I am fully glutened. Maybe body just wasn’t used to the fried food. My order even came with a sticker saying gluten free celiac. Employees were awesome

We were there on a very busy night, which made us nervous so we ordered lettuce wrapped burgers and explained our celiac needs. They did great! Food came labeled and we did not get glutened. We would eat there again.

A Celiac’s dream come true! Delicious food, that the rest of my non-celiac family all also loved (that never happens) and mine came out with a special Celiac sticker marking it which was so cool and made me feel so good about all of it. Everyone who works there is super nice too. Wish I could come back here all the time. Grassburger please come to Texas!

The burgers are good. I got gluten once and emailed the owner. Since then they have taken even better steps to ensure safe food. I was so glad to see them listen to and act on feedback. I have not gotten gluten since.
As a local, this is a go to place for me.

Although they offer a gluten free bun I cannot eat eggs so wasn’t able to get a bun. That’s typical. I throughly enjoyed my grass fed beef burger without a bun and added grilled onions. The fryer is a dedicated fryer. The fries are DELICIOUS! The meat quality is awesome

Only doing takeout and delivery at this time; so we ordered online for takeaway. There is a great selection of menu options and you can indicate the “allergy” so that they are able to take extra caution. They have GF buns and vegan options. It has been so long since I have had a milkshake and they had Vegan ones available. So good. Delicious food .

The only thing that goes in the fryer is fries and they are GF according to the lady taking our order. She says only the hamburgers go on the flat top, so no cross contact there. They have GF buns. We enjoyed our hamburgers with fries and shakes.

Great gf cheese burger and fries. They classify themselves as celiac friendly. Dedicated frier. Separate grill for gf. In the age of covid they have outdoor seating and you can get things to go as well. Very yummy!

Before I found out I had Celiacs, I would have never gone to a place called the Grassburger. But I’m so glad I went. You can basically have anything on the menu with gluten free substitutes. They were friendly and the food is amazing. I got the bacon burger and sweet potato fries with green chili ranch. Best meal I’ve had since Celiacs. Wish this was in New Mexico. 100% safe and mark your food for celiac.

Yum!! I spent a few days car camping while I visited some national parks and found this gem along the way (a nice change from all those granola bars)! I got a sunrise bowl, sweet potato fries (dedicated fryer), and a strawberry milk shake. I felt very safe and happy! :)

This was by far my favorite place to eat while visiting CO. If it were closer to where we were staying we would have eaten there everyday. I am the only one with gluten and dairy allergies in my group of 4 but everyone was so thankful we chose Grassburger because they all loved it to. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable and if they didn’t know, they were happy to look it up.
Yes
Probably my favorite place to eat gluten free! Everything is so good and the have always been careful. You can add celiac alerts when ordering at kiosk or online which is super nice as well
Yes
So good and so many options! Well worth a visit.
Yes
The food was amazing, everything was already GF. I even over heard the cooks telling each other which orders were celiac in order to ensure extra care was taken. We ate twice here while in town; and had no issues.

Good food, knowledgeable staff. Staff at the register explained all their precautions. None of us (3) had a reaction, even my extremely sensitive son.
Delicious & fresh. Eaten here twice, no reaction!
Staff knew the difference between celiac and preference. I heard them confirm which order was. Great burger and concept as well!
Yes
Always great for someone with celiac problems!
Yes
I really enjoyed the food here, I was able to have a delicious burger on a bun and felt safe eating it, and even had great sweet potato fries from a dedicated fryer! They also serve alcohol which is nice. And they did have gluten free cookies by the counter you could purchase.
