The staff were all very knowledgeable about everything, and the service was friendly. The menu was a little odd as they had a gluten free section as well as things marked with a star/green circle on the normal menu that could be made gluten free. The food all had very nice flavor (even the Udis pizza which I don’t typically love). I really enjoyed the shrimp street tacos. The only thing to watch out for was that everything ran a bit on the spicier side (considering how far north the restaurant is).
They have a GF section on the menu. Typical options, but the pizza with Udi's crust was really good.
I rarely write negative reviews. This food was bad. The sauce on the spinach artichoke pasta was extremely acidic and there was some kind of vegetable that was unpleasantly fibrous. Though it seems to be celiac friendly.
The manager personally helped me to find something that was both gluten & dairy free! I got the pasta with red sauce & a salad with lite Italian dressing!! Super good!
Had the chicken street tacos. The staff is knowledgeable and know how to direct those that have an intolerance vs CD.
The staff was very friendly. The gluten free menu had lots of options, including pizza and pasta. The pizza (made from an Udi's crust) I ate was very delicious, possibly the best I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend eating here!
Green Mill in Albert Lea is very good about making sure your needs are taken care of. I love the Spinach pecan cranberry salad.
The gf pizza is on an Udi's crust. Gf menu is listed on their website. I enjoyed the food too!
They don't have a separate gf menu so it makes it hard to look so I had to use this app for the menu and then some of the things on it they didn't have. The cilantro lime shrimp salad was delicious. Glad this chain is trying though :) every chain that has gf options should have their staff trained on it. We'll get there :)
Menu is clearly listed Gf items. Salads are great!
I struggled on what to rate this. I did not have a reaction to eating here. That being said the staff IS NOT knowledgeable. I ordered the burger on a gf bun and she asked if I wanted fries or onion rings. I said “the menu says those are not gluten free.” She said, right. And then stared at me. I ordered a side salad and when she brought it out it was covered in croutons. I sent it back, she said she would ‘remake’ it but I feel safe in saying she just took the croutons off. As a celiac I would not eat here again.
I’ve always had good experiences here. They have gluten free pasta now which was really yummy! A little pricey though. They also have GF buns and pizza. Never had the GF bun, but the pizza is good. Fun place to watch a game or have a family night out.
