Not enough GF options when I was there. Extremely high prices for poor atmosphere (big garage with screaming children). Food wasn’t that great. However, they were recently bought out by Arsaga’s, so maybe they’ll improve.
Service was a bit slow, but food was good and pricing was reasonable. The veggie omelette was really good & the hollandaise sauce was GF. Mimosas were good, but pricy.
My boyfriend and I ordered two apps, smorgas board and Mediterranean platter. We ordered bunless burger and the risotto. He ordered one drink. Our bill was 90.00 all in. The advertised "cured meat" on the smorgas was smoked salmon. That was all the cured meat. The rest of the board was mostly mustard and cream cheese with a side of something the waitress literally couldn't identify for us when we asked. The hummus was very good but if you don't eat bread there's nothing to dip in it. The burger was very boring with very little taste. The fries were good. The risotto was nothing special. It should have been a side dish. When we were trying to choose our main meals we asked what kind of chicken is used in the Marsala. The waitress told us chicken thighs and they only use dark meat. There's no white meat chicken in any dish. For such an expensive menu we expected something high quality. Regarding environment: low end set up with basic wood tables and chairs. Just a warehouse with a small bar when you enter. There were families with little children dining and it was not a romantic setting. The menu is not kid friendly so that didn't make a lot of sense. For as much as we paid we expected a better more attractive environment and delicious food. It's nice that they're trying to do the gentrified local food restaurant gig, and yes they offer GF options..... It was just a let down.... Unfortunately.
Great food, lots of options.
Of the 5 of us dining, we had steak burgers, fish tacos, mushroom "burger" and a kids fruit plate. The sweet potato fries are fabulous! All the food was wonderful - fresh, local, organic. They did not have a GF bun option, but the burger was just as good without. Refreshing option in a sea of chains we can get anywhere!
Very good & fresh food. The chef makes a special effort to scrub all grills, etc., when you notify the wait staff of you dietary restrictions to avoid as much cross contamination as possible. They make every effort to purchase ingredients locally & even grow some veggies right in front & beside the restaurant.
