Went here for a Christmas party. We went at 1 pm on a Sunday so it was nice and slow. Our server was really good and careful to ask the right questions and double check everything to make sure it was safe for me. Good experience

NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT CONTAINS GLUTEN!!

Like April wrote, I saw that a menu item that was marked as gluten-free contained Farro. Farro is not gluten-free. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. He was nice, but he said that the farro could be substituted for a GF item. He totally missed the point that if a meal is marked as GF, it should indeed be GF. One should not have to ask if a GF item is really GF!

Zero knowledge about what is gluten free!!! Word of caution... they have several menu items marked as GF which contain the ingredient farro. Farro is NOT gluten free!!! I was told by the manager that you have to request a different side item for the dish to be gluten free. I just don't understand why a restaurant would claim an item is gluten free when it is not. For someone who is not aware that farro isn't gluten free, they would assume they would be safe ordering this menu item.

Disappointed in service and quality of food. Our server didn't offer to check if some of the chicken dishes could be prepared GF so I ended up ordering plain grilled chicken. I could have dealt with that had it been cooked properly. It was super stringy chicken that could not be cut with a butter knife. Server never checked back in with us. The au gratin potatoes were good. I didn't feel there were enough options beyond salads and tough chicken so I won't return.

Second that the au gratin potatoes are a must. Have been eating gf here for years... no complaints ever.

Good size gluten free menu. Food is tasty, and they even have gf au-gratin potatoes (which I love). Make sure you try the Florida Mule too, if you are in the mood for a cocktail.

Grillsmith has one of the broadest gluten-free menus that I've come across in Clearwater. I've visited over a dozen times since finding out about my allergy and they always prepare my meal correctly. Their Chocolate Decadance (flourless chocolate cake) is excellent, and they have an amazing black bean burger for vegetarians as well as lots of salad choices!

Great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff. Menu is clearly marked GF on items and since it's a scratch kitchen they can edit anything as needed. Knowledgeable staff and tastes wonderful. Highly recommend. I just wish they had some type of bread or crostini for the Cajun shrimp app. Tastes good but needs something

I had a phenomenal experience here. For reference, I am celiac and can not do cross-contamination due to the severity of my allergy. I felt very comfortable there, and my server went above and beyond to ensure I was safe. She was very knowledgeable about spices, sauces, and the whole 9. I had a wedge salad with sirloin, the best wedge I’ve ever had. They have a lot more items marked GF on their menu. My husband and I can’t wait to go back and try more yummy dinners! P.S. they are a scratch kitchen, so this helps a ton with their ability to modify and keep gluten-free guests safe, no guessing!

They recently added the gf items to the regular menu and updated some options. There are items on the menu that are marked gluten free, but do have gluten in them.

Gluten conscious but did not have items like GF buns. So you can have a burger without a bun, or salad . The salad tasted good, but I was hoping for genuine GF items.
