I had a great experience. Staff was very knowledgeable and had a special kit they pull out to make gluten free and safe sandwiches. They used fresh toppings, changed gloves, and toasted it separate and covered. Sandwich was very good.

Udi’s gluten free sub rolls available
Both gluten free sandwiches ordered did not come as we requested. My sandwich was missing the cheese I requested. My daughter’s caprese sandwich was missing the basil (this one of their specialty sandwiches - not sure how they messed this one up). It wasn’t very busy, but the service was slow and spotty. The sandwiches themselves were pretty good.

They have Udis gluten free bread and offer to change their gloves, has never made me sick, and is delicious.

I have a severe gluten allergy that makes ordering food at restaurants almost impossible!! That is except for at Grouchos. Every time i’m so welcome and never feel like an inconvenience to the workers! The food is prepared very safe and they even assured me they used an allergy kit with preparing my meal!! Grouchos is the only restaurant i truly feel like I can eat without any fear of ending up in a hospital! seriously recommend to any people with celiac diseases!!

The staff were very open to questions and even brought out bread manufacturer label. The GF deli roll was so good I was afraid it wasn't really GF. Very detailed allergy menu available. Not safe from cross contamination possibility but a nice lunch place in a town that's very limited in GF options.

I went here on a Friday afternoon and we sat at the bar top. The restaurant was clean. The waitress and another waiter took time to explain to me the menu and their favorite sandwiches and what was safe. They assured me they would take care with my GF roll and I watched them prepare my sandwich on a special board away from the rest of the prep area. My sandwich was absolutely delicious but more importantly I felt very safe here and I didn’t get sick.

I had a dip sandwich on the GF roll which was very good and not tiny! Great experience and no reaction noticed.

My favorite sandwich in columbia is GF with Udis bread. Cross contamination is unlikely given the sandwiches are prepared and microwaved on their own plates, so Im sure if you asked them to change their gloves it would be close to 0 cross contamination.

So friendly and helpful!! My 6yo daughter has celiacs therefore looking for Gf options in Georgetown. This deli has Udi’s GF Sub Roll and can heat sandwiches safely. Their chips are also GF! The waitress was knowledgeable and very sweet!
