NEW: They now use WHEAT FLOUR tortillas for breakfast burritos. Wheat flour tortillas are prepared on the same grill as the GF corn tortillas. The website has not been updated to reflect this new gluten ingredient and is misleading about GF items in the kitchen. Guisados chain is not allergen aware and no longer safe for Celiacs. Sad because the tacos were really good!

Everything is gluten free except for tamales, Camarones and and vegan peppers tacos! So freaking amazing. Best tacos in LA 🌮

Guisados’ menu is nearly entirely gluten-free. The only items containing gluten are shrimp tacos and vegan peppers tacos, as well as their tamales.
Their tamales are kept in a separate pot to keep them warm. That said, I haven’t had a chance to ask what surfaces their tamales are prepared on, so I am not sure about the potential risk for cross-contamination.

Ate here, loved the taste, loved how confident the servers were about celiac safety….BUT I was violently sick 2 hours after eating. My gluten-loving husband ate all the same stuff as me and was fine. Sad day for this taco lover.

Best tacos I have had in my life. Menu is GF except one shrimp taco that has a soy marinade, well noted on the menu. Incredible agua frescas.

It’s a pretty cool hole in the wall aesthetic. I tried they’re OG sampler it’s pretty good . There is a lot of variety in taste , spicyness.

Most delicious local taco chain in LA, hands down! Be sure to get a few since authentic tacos are smaller than you think. Everything on the menu is GF except the Camarones (contains soy sauce -> wheat) and the beer. They make all their tortillas in-house from corn. They have delicious horchata & Agua Fresca but ngl I could drink that mole sauce as a beverage 👀😂
I’m a sensitive celiac and never had issues here! Also their spicy scale is not messing around so if you’re not used to eating Mexican/Thai/Indian level 10 spicy food avoid the ones with 3+ chilies next to the name

So many choices, so little time. 3 tacos per person should fill up an adult. I had 2 different pork, Chuleta and Chorizo, and the Quesadilla. Rapid service, fine atmosphere, comfortably warm on a cold rainy night. All naturally gluten free. Slightly spicy, but enough to be very tasty.

Yes
Pretty much whole regular menu is GF. Avoid the shrimp - it's not. And watch out for specials. Also, this small chain serves the best tacos in LA, hands down.
Yes
Staff is knowledgeable. Spicy but good. Reasonable priced for a quick bite.
Yes
Everything on their menu is gluten free except the shrimp . The tacos are safe. The only thing to be careful of is that the shrimp is cooked on the same grill as the quesadillas so if you want a quesadilla, you have to ask them to cook it on the tortilla grill. Amazing tacos and have never gotten sick!
Yes
Most items on menu are gluten free. They have hand made tortillas.
It's HARD to find a Mexican restaurant that mentions GF and has vegetarian options. This one checks both options. I felt confident in their GF claim because they specifically note which options are NOT GF, including one that seems to include soy sauce. If a restaurant declares it's soy sauce, I feel good about it. I didn't ask any questions about CC.
