Edit: NO LONGER SAFE. What a shame! This was my favorite restaurant in LA. I’m updating my review to reflect what others have noted.
Wrecked after eating food from here last night. Definitely contaminated.
if celiac, DO NOT EAT HERE. they have updated menu to add more wheat, and management will gaslight you when you try to point this out

Edit: NO LONGER GF! They are now serving breakfast burritos on WHEAT FLOUR tortillas. The wheat flour tortillas and corn tortillas are prepared in the same place. The menu & website have old, outdated information about being GF. This chain is not allergen aware and is making changes that are not safe for celiacs. Very sad. These were good tacos, and I trusted them before but no more.
I typically enjoy going to Guisados. They do have on their website that everything on their menu is gluten free. EXCEPT THEIR BREAKFAST BURRITOS. They use flour tortillas for the breakfast burritos and it’s definitely prepared in the same place as the tacos (verified by staff and you can see them being prepared in person). Bummer. I’m not sure if this is a seasonal thing or if the burrito is available at all Guisados :(
First of all, the tacos were delicious. The homemade corn tortillas were perfection. The menu clearly documents the few food options that aren’t gluten-free and this was also confirmed by the staff.
The menu here clearly states that the entire menu is gluten free with a few exceptions. I ordered four different tacos, and they were all delicious! I felt great afterwards and was happy to find this restaurant. Inside, there was a great sign about other possible allergens. 😜 See my attached photo.
Great tacos. Somewhat inconsistent messaging about what's gf, at different times I've been told to avoid the shrimp tacos and tamales
Have eaten here multiple times with no issues. Love that I can order almost anything on the menu. It’s a great choice when I’m eating out or ordering delivery with friends!
Such a treat to have a menu 95% celiac safe for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great variety, tasty food, and the cold brew horchata was cherry on top.
The person who took my order explained which items were gluten-free, and I ordered two different tacos that she said were safe. My NIMA sensor went off for both of them. It’s probably fine for “gluten-free” folks, but I don’t recommend for those with Celiac.
The lemonade was great though!

Great service, delicious food, and totally free from gluten! All their tortillas are gluten-free and they only have one taco that contains gluten in the sauce, so it’s not even volatile gluten. Felt 100% safe, definitely recommend!

Amazing tacos!!! Only one of their tacos isn’t gluten free, the shrimp taco, but I’ve tried the rest of the menu and have never gotten sick!! The drinks are delicious too! My partner is vegetarian and loves their veggie options! Both of our favorite tacos are on their breakfast menu! SO GOOD!
Handmade tortillas! All menu items are gluten free with the exception of the shrimp. Very tasty and very inexpensive.
