I actually worked here for 4 years (2010-2014) before I was diagnosed with celiac. The owner (Brenda) has celiac so they take this very seriously. They use all separate, clean utensils when a GF order is placed, on a clean prep surface (new cutting board, not just wiped down). They take it very seriously and I’m so grateful. Every sandwich here is incredible — my favorites are the Monterey, the Rutherford, the Da Vinnie & the Cuban. On the Cuban, they can’t guarantee that the pork wasn’t contaminated throughout the week as different people reach into the bag and might have touched bread before. So I would generally avoid unless you know the pork was made that day. Bonus points for the chips.
Great place for Wonderful GF Sandwiches! Staff very knowledgeable because Owner has Celiac. Have eaten here several times and never worried about CC. Sandwiches and Salads can be made GF.
