We all enjoyed this place! It’s definitely a hole in the wall. My husband is celiac and my daughter’s gluten intolerant and they both really like the GF bun. My husband said it was one of the better buns he’s had. For 8 of us we paid $82 which we were shocked how affordable it was.

No measures in place to avoid cross contamination. Based on the other reviews we gave it a shot. Started with telling them we had a gluten free allergy. They first ran her GF bun through the toaster with the other buns. Then I glanced at the very small grill with gluten items on it. Maybe when they are less busy its wo rth a shot but these kids were clueless...

I’m a sensitive celiac And I felt great! No reaction! They were very accommodating, changing their gloves, cleaning the area. The Gf bun was good but a bit soggy. The burger was good! Would’ve loved some fries though 😉

Ate the hamburger with GF bun-home-made from GF bakery in town. Did not get sick. Cook was very thoughtful. Burger was amazing!!

Hal’s is a classic hole in the wall drive thru. They have amazing burgers and shakes at great prices! They have gluten free buns and plenty of GF options. I’ve been eating here for years every time we pass through Pendleton.
