We were at a show in Navy Pier and when my husband decided to purchase a sandwich, I was very disappointed, as I knew I wouldn't be able to have one. But I was WRONG. I had the best gluten free parma sandwich I ever had, in a gf pretzel baguette. I asked them to heat for a little longer as I love a warm sandwich. I have been coming back every week since then.

When I walked in, the employee grabbed the regular pretzel bread to get me started. I told him I want staying with that, I'm gluten free and it's an allergy. He changed gloves, got a new piece of paper and the gf bread. It looked a little overcooked but tasted great! I was really glad to have a pretzel taste that was gluten free! There's a choice between chips or almonds. They have Justin's cups as a dessert option and I think there were also chocolates.

Yummm really good - they made gf bread on the spot for me since it was a holiday week and they didn’t have any baked yet that day. Delicious sandwich offerings!!
Staff was knowledgeable about the GF options, and stated that all sandwiches could be made GF. They are ready to change their gloves, use a fresh paper, and have a single staff member process your entire sandwich assembly, so I’m happy with the measures in place. The GF pretzel bread is unique, but I like the flavor. It’s very dense and very dry. Plan to drink a lot of water, but be glad you can eat the bread!

Reading previous reviews, it appears they’ve made some (good) changes to the gluten free baguette. I thought it was so tasty! The closest to a pretzel bun that I have had in a long time. When you order, Staff ask you if you would like them to change their gloves. They use a fresh knife to cut the bread but I believe use the same utensils down the sandwich making line which may have come in contact with regular bread. I would say sensitive celiacs need to take extra precautions ordering (a sign is posted saying they do their best but there is a risk of CC still). Sandwiches are pricey but the ingredients were so fresh and delicious, I look forward to returning.
The gluten free baguette is terrible. It's hard, mealy, and is awful tasting. As I was eating the sandwich, chunks of bread fell off -- and I was glad! I eventually abandoned the terrible bread and just ate the filling. Really disappointing for a $14 lunch.
The staff was great about changing gloves and being cautious about contamination - but the gluten free roll was hard as a rock and very mealy. I ate the contents and left the brick like bread alone.... Completely disappointing for a $14 lunch.

Pricey for gf optios
I got a gf baguette sandwich with prosciutto and truffled goat cheese on it. It was amazing! Really good bread. They changed their gloves but almost started spreading the cheese from a shared spreader onto my gf sandwich. I quickly intervened and asked that they get a new spread and knife, which they did, but be careful. I thought the sandwich was a pretty good size, others might not. Either way it’s a really great option to have and I wouldn’t discount them for this. The gf bread was amazing.

Great experience here. I explained that I’m very sensitive and the manager made my sandwich with ingredients from the back. My food was delicious—I had the porchetta verde, which is seasonal. The salt and pepper chips were also awesome.

The GF bretzel bun was AMAZING! Tastes practically the same as a regular pretzel bun. GF chips are also included in your order! A little pricey but they try their best with CC and you really can’t put a price on an authentic tasting GF pretzel bun

I had the same excellent service as mentioned by reviewer Mandy. When I ordered GF the food preparer asked if I would like him to change his gloves and the next preparer also changed her gloves. The GF roll is very good - not at all dry and crumbly. Fresh ingredients. Friendly service. Thanks!
Sandwich is tasty but TINY. And there’s a GF upcharge, of course. Over $12 for a half-sandwich and a side salad. No drink. Staff changed gloves and took precaution. Efforts are appreciated but won’t be back. Cost is far outweighing quantity. When you see others receiving bigger “regular” sandwiches and you’ve paid the upcharge, it just feels like you got ripped off.
